Do yourself a favor and check out, "Gone Baby Gone"... Out of the 2, I couldn't pick which one I liked the most... Both are a 10/10..

^ Ah I can't watch that unfortunately as last time I heard, they're not releasing it here in the UK because of the ongoing Madeline McCann disappearance and thought it might be too insensitive to release here.

What I liked most about "Gone Baby Gone", wasn't the main story as such, and was more for the witty fast paced dialog, and the actors were a perfect fit.. It was a similar style to "The Departed"..

Not a proper movie, but I saw "Family Guy - Blue Harvest".

I guess it's funnier for a Star Wars fan..

Ellen Page for best actress!

(Though this is the only movie I've seen that has one of the best actress nominees for the Oscars...) Go Canada!

This movie sucked!! As much as I'm a fan of Brad Pitt, and Casey Affleck after watching "gone baby gone", I didn't enjoy this at all..
Pros

Acting - Casey Affleck kicked some serious ass in the role.. Hope he wins the award for it!!
Cinematography - Beautiful work with snow and silhouettes..
Nick Cave - Just because I love Nick Cave (he was also in "Johnny Suede" with Brad Pitt..)

Cons

Story - Being non American, I couldn't give 2 fucks about Jesse James to begin with, and found this BORING!!
Narration - Sounded more like someone reading a wiki entry..
Cinematography - The blurred tunnel vision effect got tiresome.

cloverfield. i saw it twice. i had to go back to see if stuff people were saying about the movie was true or not. its a good movie. don't expect A LOT though. go in thinking "ehh..whatever" and i think you'll like it better.

Just went to see Cloverfield too. It has some cool moments in it for sure, some flaws too. Not sure how I feel about it. I liked the ending a lot.

Pi

Great great great movie. It was an indie production but is was difinately awesome. Sometimes you need to rip from form your body what's driving you insane and if that means a body part then so be it.

Not a gory movie at all by the way, very philisophical in it's own.

I watched four today; Stardust, Enchanted, Hell Boy and Armitage: Dual-Matrix .

Stardust is absolutely hilarious, especially Captain Shakespeare.
Enchanted is adorable and surprisingly good (I hated the beginning though)
Hell Boy is my favorite movie and I'm freakishly excited for the sequel to come out so I've been watching it non-stop.
Dual-Matrix is the best movie I've seen all week ('cept for Hell Boy of course)
