Kids are much clever today. Even a 3 year old boy know how to use computer. I don't think I can do the same thing when I was 3 year old....

But were computers so prevalent back then? A close friend of mine's son (who is a few years old) can outplay most people on his xbox.

Simply because his father continuosly plays games - and that's where he probably picked it up from. I guess if something is so common it becomes second nature.

The kid probably didn't think anything was wrong when he bought the car.

err.. it's not that a kid can't read at age 3 (I started at 2 and a half

) but, he may be a little too young to browse through the ebay site, click the right buttons, make a bid and then understand that he has made a purchase. Sounds like bullshit to me.

Don't doubt the intellect of kids. My 6 year old cousin flawlessly installed surround sound, tivo and a fax machine in my relative's house..on the first try.

still, there's a difference between a 6 years old, who can make simple numerical calculations, and a 3 yrs old, who just recently learnt some spatial notions.
