How about some experimental instrumental music?

Jemapur - Hidden Microscope

DOWNLOAD

Tracklist
01. Talked
02. Light To Light (Remix Of Antennae)
03. Hidden Microscope
04. Self Improvisation
05. Reaching Higher Ground
06. Bidnezz
07. Absence (Remix Of Machine Drum)
08. Off The Wall
09. Moons And Cattails
10. Monochrome
11. Pedd / Chair / Temma
12. Bird Sanctuary

I discovered Jemapur a couple of years ago when I was in Japan. I went to this small ass record store and noticed that they were pimpin' some Hydeout releases. I had never heard of Jemapur but I still ended up copping Dok Springs cuz obviously dude had to be good if he was signed to Nujabes's record label. The album caught me off guard cuz I was expecting Jemapur's music to be similar to Nujabes. Dok Springs is much more experimental than Nujabes's releases and his influence can only be heard on a couple of tracks. Dok Springs has everything from minimalistic ambient to instrumental hip hop and it's definitely not an easy listening album. I would recommend Dok Springs to all instrumental music lovers :yep:

Eh...I was about to post the "Force" album, but I see you guys already have. xP

Hmm, I'd like to contribute more, but I'm still getting accustomed to means of finding the good bands.

But yeah, dunno if anyone posted this single, but I love this band. 8D

Here's something else. Lots of crazy guitar work here and just all over the place instrumentals.  I feel some sort of Green Milk from the Planet Orange + PANICSMILE + nuit0 vibe from them, but I'm probably way off.  Here's a description from last.fm, as I myself am not quite sure how to describe these guys. :P

Unbeltipo comes from the remains of Tipographica, an experimental jazz prog-rock band. Fronted by ex-Tipographica guitarist Tsuneo Imahori, notably known in the US for composing various anime soundtracks, the band mostly play experimental jazz-prog rock with drum’n’bass and electronic influences.

a few tags from last.fm : experimental, free jazz, avant-garde, electronic
