Hey Stryfe, could you reupload those Spiral Chord CDs please?
The download links don't work anymore.

Sorry about this, but I've been looking for those for a long time. Thanks.

The links should work just fine. Maybe the server was down for a bit or something.

I'm sorry. The problem was that I didn't have 50 posts.
I got them now. Thanks.  :nervous

Hey guys... new to the forums. Just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone who has participated in this thread! Just wondering, are we allowed to make requests? I've been looking for anything on a Japanese band called "raison d'etre", now known as "AO" (they came out with an album called Space Opera very recently)

New toe! Thanks~

Wish I had something new to contribute... Maybe I can upload some old material. I did a search on rururu and you guys talked about them on like page 2 of this thread but never actually posted their material :P

Here it is if any one is still interested! (in m4a format!)

Edit: I just realized I didn't search them as "ルルル" .... Someone already posted it. Woops. Ignore me. .__.

Unless.... I try and redeem myself with the Yoshida Tatsuya + Eiko Ishibashi collaboration album?

12 Death in a Dream?

Last.fm Description: A joint project between pianist Eiko Ishibashi (石橋英子) of PANICSMILE and Tatsuya Yoshida (吉田達也), the drummer of Ruins. Contains many of the avant-pop elements of Ishibashi’s soloworks and zeuhl elements of Yoshida’s work in Ruins.

I know there's definitely some Eiko Ishibashi fans here but what about Tatsuya Yoshida? Definitely a fun album, Eiko's piano work along with Tatsuya's drumming style match quite well imo. The 'Classic Medley' alone made me smile just recognizing a bunch of songs.

Cheers!

^i hear ya, i'm probably the only Koenjihyakkei/Ruins & Panicsmile fan around here, or at least the only one that's left.. :v:

Eiko's solo albums are very different and is a recommend too, drifting devil is a good start,
there's also another collab album with Tatsuya Yoshida, this time with the guy from Boredoms (lol, guess what crazy shit happens in that one), the collab was named as Sun Kich from what i remember

Greetings all. Here is a compilation that I pieced together myself. It basically consists of some of my favorite tracks from 2009, but all from obscure Japanese bands/artists. Genre-wise, it's a mix of post-rock, ambient, electronic, and folk/acoustic stuff. The tone of this compilation is pretty consistent, though - beautiful. ethereal, dreamy...those were the themes that I was working under, and also why I named this compilation "Sublime Sounds". I hope you all will agree. Feedback would be appreciated! =)

V.A. - Sublime Sounds: Japan 2009

01 a picture of her - no_title
02 ホテルニュートーキョー - a man & rooster
03 ハイスイノナサ - 都市の記憶

06 henrytennis - Holy Ghosts
07 ar - マサシクダビンチ

10 oono yuuki - Yule

Hey,
I stumbled across this looking for anything on hotelnewtokyo (track 02).
If you could in anyway point me to where I can get this in America
that would be great. It's not on the american itunes store and
I havent been able to find any of their songs for download online.
Any help would be the best thing ever- i have been obssesing over
the little material I have of theirs (youtube videos).

Also, i would love to hear the compilation, but it seems to be down..

Thanks!
