The Lost Thread (ABC) - Season 6 Discussion
« on: October 02, 2006, 10:29:09 AM »
Anybody here interested in the TV Series "LOST" ? Why not try to create a storyline from the present situation and see how it leads ???

At the end of Season 2:

Jack, Kate and Sawyer are hooded by Henry Gale's group to be taken somewhere....

Also, as everyone here may not have seen the finale of Season 2, I suggest to put spoiler within the topic title, just to warn people. You know who you are!

BUMP!  I was surprised as hell to see Ben shoot Locke and leave him in the Dharma grave.  What do you think is "Jacob"?

I think Jacob is the weird nano-dust-monster thingy. Maybe the ghost of the captain of the Black Rock or something. Lost has been awesome since the long break... I hope they can continue this next season.

I believe ABC gave them 3 more seasons, even though they dropped in ratings.

I'm hooked on this show. I tune in every week. I have mixed feelings about the show only running for 3 more seasons. It's good to know Lost will have a conclusion that's not 5 seasons or more away but I'm such a fan of the show that 3 seasons seems a little short.

The Jacob thing was weird but so is everything else about the show.  :P

It's so lovely when Lost isn't on the TV over here, we don't have to have all those stupid "creepy" previews between every show on Channel 4.

Worst cop out ending they could have is it was all a DREAM, and the plane hasn't left the airport.  or worse they're all dead and in HELL!

I have changing thoughts on this series. the button pressing on season 1 hooked me in.
Season 2 I started getting tired with all the "new finds" and killing-off the tail-end survivors. They felt more like fillers or something. It was harsh.
Season 3 I'm only watching some episodes here and there. I kinda like them talking more of "the others" now, but maybe I've seen too many "ghosts in the attic" (or is it the closet... bah, whatever) flashbacks. It isn't as entertaining anymore.

And those numbers better mean something important!!  >:(

I remember the producers rejected theories of:
1. dead and gone to hell
2. aliens
3. all happening in one person's mind
4. time travelling

They need to send in Mulder and Scully onto this case~

Season 3 has been amazing IMO, a few filler eps here and there but meh.  Big improvement over S2.

BUMP!  I was surprised as hell to see Ben shoot Locke and leave him in the Dharma grave.  What do you think is "Jacob"?

Some freaky 'multi-dimensional being' type of thing.  I recall one of the older theories about this show being that the island exists as a place where alternate realities all coincide, like the common ground that ties them all together.  So maybe Jacob is a dimensional shifter...if that makes any sense.

LOL, I hope in the end it gets explained right, also I would like to see another season when they are back home.

Was another good one tonight. Didn't answer any questions really, but at least the plot was advanced... should be a very good finale next week
