i'm confused about the times that peoples powers are surfacing. claire is at birth, her mother was 16 years ago (presuming she caused that fire..), yet nathan (her dad) only seems to be able to fly recently. and the other characters who seem to have been able to use their powers for a while (invisi-man & haitian)

what's there to be confusing? it's obvious that not everyone would experience and learn their abilities at the same time. think of it as people hitting puperty, but with a wider range of age haha.

I've only watched this till the 9th episode... I like it a lot! it keeps you hanging on every episode (annoying but nice)

yes i mean they've never met, obviously he's her dad. For instance a twist of this sort would have been better if Claire and Nathan actually had a history together besides genetically. Peter, though it would be less probable for him to have a child out of wedlock, would have been a better choice.

Yeah, I agree it would have been better had they had atleast a bit of interaction before they find out they're father and daughter.

I've seen two episodes now, and its certainly interesting. I'm tempted to download the whole 1-14 episodes but thats 8gig ! Will take a while on 512 DSL. The fact that there isn't action the whole time doesn't worry me, its quite interesting.

it is still quite a good twist because claire's already met her uncle (peter) and their connection was very good from the get go. anyway it really seems like EVERYONE's connected one way or another..

i didn't expect peter to be able to use all of the powers that he absorbed. that's totally awesome. but he already came close to sylar and yet didn't get sylar's original ability or the stolen ones. maybe that's too much..

Maybe absorbing what Sylar had is what set him off... he was fine until he got in close contact with Sylar. And then when he was in the cell that's when he started looking and acting sick and practically coughing up a lung before passing out outside the station. Question is: will he be able to call up the powers of the people Sylar killed with out knowing what they are?

If you ask me, I think he would because he didn't know Claire's power yet he used it, so absorbing Sylar's abilities wouldn't be any different since it's technically Sylar's powers now even though he stole it. Guess we'll find out later on =]

So you're saying that he could call up a power he needed, if he had it, if he were put in a certian situation where he needed that power?

Exactly, although I wonder why he didn't fly when he was falling on the last episode, but he did manage to heal himself. But this is all my opinion so it could be right or wrong of course.

i thought he used Claire's power the first time because he was near her (like he does with everyone else). and the second time because he suddenly remembered the feeling of being with her seconds before landing on the car. then they were saying later that maybe that's the way he could use the absorbed powers at will..

i'm not so sure if Hiro's really going to get his powers back just by getting the sword though. maybe it's just going thru a temporary off period because he used it too much..

heroes is awesome i jut hope they dont over complicate it , entwining everyone with everyone , like with peter petrelli and clair now , i dont liek that kidna of stuff , it ruines the show imo... i dotn want it to be some kind of lame soap drama where everyone is related to each other in some way ....

i liked the first season of prison break , but i stopped in the middle of season 2 , it became too stupid and repetetive ,they were trying to hard to give new riddles and cliffhangers wich imo destroyed the show for me... I hate it went tv networks drag out teh shows too much destroying everything in the end . that show should have just ended on the middle of second season , and not try to make it so that they can go on for like 5 seasons.... it will just be to ridicolus...
