A shopping cart that had been hoisted atop a supermarket flagpole by pranksters fell on a store employee and broke her neck.

I'm confused, normally when I raise the flag on our flagpole at school, I generally look up, to check the condition of the rope.

wouldn't she see if the cart was there when she went to untie the rope??.

So what is seems she did, was just walk to the flagpole and untie the rope, without looking up...musta been so routine that she didn't even bother.

Those guys are idiots, and I agree with john_hung with his drunk rich kids thing. It really sucks what happened.
