holy crap!

guy's 25 and the partying killed him~!  i know that there's alot of 'banquet obligation' in Asia (Mainland, Japan, esp..), but i didn't know that they could KILL you...

looks like a historical repeat of ancient Roman times where rich folks sometimes died when they play too hard (orgies of excess kinds, etc..); but this time with a corporate twist to it, scary :sweatdrop:

well most chinese cannot metabolise alcohol. the poor guy :(

hum..what gives??

different 'race' (or kinds) of human beings are less tolerant to alchol ?  :confused:

i met some chinese brothers that can drink with the best of 'em; and some black and white brothers who get seriously impair about a few beers ...

Ahh, the "Chinese and Native Americans get drunk easily" theory.  I never figured out whether that was a scientific truth or an urban myth.  I'm half chinese and can drink a river.

While its true that Native Americans have to contend with higher levels of alcoholism than the overall American population, I don't know whether the cause is genetic/racial or cultural/economic.  And lots of Chinese I know do turn red when they drink even one drink, but I don't know if that's because their skin is so pale that blood vessel dilation is easier to detect.

whoa, maybe i can try this to measure my metabolisme... well, though i don't really "can" drink... maybe a fortnight of orgy.... poor guy that died from that.. maybe he like it rough?
