In the Cutie Circuit 2008 performance of Love Machine, the girls do harmonies. O.O It's fucking win. I don't think anyone since the original line-up has done the actual LOVE Machine harmonies! C-ute has gotten a new respect from me!

Hello, I mentioned awhile ago that i was going to the c-ute concert on Saturday. Oh it's in Yokohama! Well I just got my tickets that I bought from Yahooauctions and the seller sent me two! I got it for a decent price and though the tickets are actually 5250 each, I'll sell it to you for like 2sen!

Its for the night show, it starts at 6 and its a family seat. I'm a girl as a note, and extremely asian looking! Anyhow I can speak Japanese ok, but since I have this extra seat I thought it be cool to have another forigner there!

C-utie Museum Vol.27

- It’s been almost a year and a half since Cute’s debut theatre performance HAROGEKI “Sleeping child is cute”.
- The second play C-ute will be doing starts on 10/17!
- The story revolves around 7 people who co-operate to write a mobile phone novel despite being strangers. The title is “Moblie phone novelist”!!
- The 7 members explain their roles with fun and detail.

Suzuki Airi
My character is a rich girl who grows up comfortably surrounded by maids and butlers and does not know about the outside world. I’m the only one who wears a beret and bolero type uniform (laugh). In response to the overbearing upbringing I receive, I start to want more freedom, and it is during this time that I come across the mobile phone novel. Through a bulletin board, we write the story together. In addition, we act out the story we write which is fun. I think it will be a very interesting performance.

Arihara Kanna
I play a sporty and spirited girl who loves to exercise. Even when writing the novel with the others, she wants to make the story sports related (laugh). This time we have 7 deep characters whose behaviour and way of speaking are totally different, and I think this makes how the characters resolve their different ideas interesting. As I often read mobile phone stories (am I possibly the member who reads them the most!?), I will be doing my best.

Hagiwara Mai
Although I am the youngest, my role is an adult-like junior high student. She is a romantic who wants to make everything related to love. However, she is also a reliable person who does all her own housework. I think she just wants to hurry and finally become an adult (laugh)! Unlike our previous play, our characters are strangers who come together to write the novel, and I am looking forward to how I will handle it.

Okai Chisato
My role is a country junior high student who tries too hard to be fashionable. Her colourful clothes are more gaudy than trendy (laugh). Her uniform is country looking. Her make-up is thick and her cheeks are red (laugh). This girl believes that this look is fine. She is also a spirited girl who is loud and tells jokes. I have been told by the director that very genki and happy kids also tend to get very depressed when they are feeling down. I want to be able to express that swing in emotions well.

Umeda Erika
Simply put yankii. She loves quarreling and competing with lots of fighting spirit (laugh)! She likes to words like “guts” and “fighting spirit”. On the other hand, she is a warm-hearted person with a sense of justice which is cool (laugh). Out of the seven people she is the aggresive girl who acts on impulse. I am looking forward to using yankii expressions thoughout the whole performance. I think it will feel good to shout slightly violent words that I would normally never get to use.

Yajima Maimi
Out of the very individualistic group of girls I am the normal average female student. Using my own experience of unrequited love as the main subject, I decide to write a mobile phone story. However, writing it alone is difficult, so I post on a bulletin board for collaborators and meet the other 6 people. In the play, because I am the leader who mediates and puts together the story it is of interest to me to compare it to what I normally do as leader [of C-ute] (laugh). In addition, I am looking foward to playing a character who is different from myself.

Nakajima Saki
In school I am a loner who gets bullied and has no friends. However, outside of school I wear lolita type clothing. Liking the occult I have a strong awareness of the supernatural. That is why I want to turn the novel into a horror one (laugh). The 6 individualistic girls want to advance the story according to their own preferences and it is up to Maimi-chan to get the story onto the right path. What kind of novel will it be!?
