Drinking just three cups of coffee a day decreases men's ability to father normal children, new research suggests.

The research is the latest of a series of studies showing how modern life cuts both the quantity and quality of sperm. One, by the US government, shows that men now produce only about a third as much sperm as hamsters.

I try to limit myself to one cup a day, and even then I try to only drink coffee in the morning. Makes you wonder, what is being affected by the extra caffeine? The men's stamina or the sperm's?

I cant drink coffee, it churns my stomach bad.. i guess thats the downside of being blood type O.

I don't drink coffee, but I wonder if it is the caffeine that causes this. If so, I'm never drinking a caffeinated drink again. Unless I'm thirsty...

As long as it gets the job done.

Being virile and causing unwanted pregnancies is more of a hassle than a blessing anyway.

Uh oh...thats exactly how many cups of coffee I drink a day, 2 in the morning to get going for the morning shift, then one in the evening shift.

Well I read another study before this which says that coffee helps reduce stress levels. So I guess it's a double-edged sword.
