somewhat offtopic, but where is a good place to buy 'listening gadgets'?

I'm pretty sure online stores will have better prices and choices than retail stores. The only site i know for headphones and such is audiocubes.

My 20GB old iPod is named Arez, using it when I'm travelling. While sometimes I just use my Nokia N73 Music Edition (named PiyoCOLA II - PiyoCOLA I is my old Sony Ericsson k700i) to listen to a few songs - mostly when I'm too lazy to bring my iPod with me.

And yeah you still have to pay for service no matter what cellphone you get, but my current plan is $9.99/mo

You could have tried these instead, the Mylarone XB (extra bass) or the Mylarone X3. They cost only SGD$57 (USD37+-) and based on the reviews of peers and local community, they are the current best bang for the buck. But i've seen them live before and i can say that the build is not that good compared to other in ear monitors.

By the way, i'm sure this is old news, but the Meizu M6SE is finally sent to the production plant to be out during Q4 07'. I guess this will be my next DAP to replace my ipod video.

Was second choice actually, wanted a 80GB or 160GB Archos 604 but those are not to be had yet (they did have a 30GB but that is not enough diskspace) and I am to impatient to order online when I want hardware that should be available in shops
