More than 100 homes offering smart technology have just been built in South Korea and another 30,000 are planned.

It reminds me of a comic where Goofy & Mickey (ok i just lose all my coolness) were testing a smart home for a week. In the end, the house became a psychopath and was trying to kill 'em.

can't imagine how much it would cost to live in such a place...
having your house help you pick out your clothes just sounds weird.

and imagine if the house turns on you. it locks you inside forever, preventing you from leaving. sounds like an idea for a new horror movie

Reminds me of the Disney movie "Smart House" where the house turns to be their mommy and tries to keep the creator away from being with the kids' daddy.

i had a chance to go into the ms home display out and microsofts main campus where they have all of their concept technology for the home...and i must say... i want to live there now...very high tech stuff...rfid tags on clothes and hidded lcd panels everywhere
