Yeah, and looks like Stamps are gonna head on to beat BC too, so whoever wins the west is seriously gonna win the Cup. Unless Montreal pulls out a string of wins, they west has all the momentum. But hey, Bombers established a playoff spot today with a 29-22 win over the Ti-Cats. KG with 3 TD passes, baby!! No scores by Milt Stegall today though, so the all-time record for TD passes is gonna have to wait a bit.

on a more serious note, RIP Jackie Parker. Eskimos legend. He was 74.

“The Fast Freight from Mississippi State” or “Ole Spaghetti Legs” starred as quarterback, halfback and defensive back for the Edmonton Eskimos from 1954 to 1962, the Argos from 1963 to 1965 and B.C. Lions from 1966 to 1968. He played on three Grey Cup winners with Edmonton, won the Schenley as the CFL's top player three times, was an All-Star for eight straight years and he scored 750 points, including 88 touchdowns rushing and 75 TDs passing. Jackie’s dramatic 84- yard TD run in the 1954 Grey Cup game remains one of pro sports most memorable plays. Jack is a member of Canada's Sports Hall of Fame, The Canadian Football Hall of Fame and joined the Eskimo Wall of Honour in 1983.

So surprise, surprise, BC vs Montreal for the Cup. BC has definitely earned their spot to be there this year, but with both teams playing having indoor stadiums, the weather and noise is definitely going to be a factor. And I think Geroy Simon is gonna win the Warrior of the Year contest too. He earned that shit.

Holy shit, I just found out today that Tyrone Jones, former Winnipeg Blue Bomber great, has terminal cancer. At least that's how I understood it from the lady that was with him at work today. I didn't get a chance to talk to him but man, I sure remember those glory days.
