I'm not such a big fan of Ayu but it seems that Secret sounds ok. I like Ayu's ballads more then her upbeat songs.

LOL Sometimes there are even better pics in the inside booklet than what avex chose for the cover~ Like RAINBOW, for example. I didn't think the cover was that impressive, but Ayu in that gorgeous rainbow-coloured gown on the inside was *GORGEOUS*

I loved *all* new tracks, and I'm glad I waited for my own copy to arrive to listen and watch in full quality

Still hate the b-sides, they should've left them out and make taskinst a full song lol. momentum could've sound a little less like HAL material as well, I loved it anyway though. My favorite pv is probably 1LOVE, followed by JEWEL. Also, some of the lyrics were a bit generic, but the title track left me teary eyed, all the older songs references... sigh.

Onto the sales, they're unfair and disappointing

I hated (m)u and it sold like twice more on 1st week, around 600k. #3 108,119 for 2nd week, and 494,399 total for now.

I can't believe (miss)understood sold more in its first week than SECRET~ I mean, I didn't *hate* (miss)understood, but SECRET is by far the better album

Hopefully it'll turn around in the coming weeks and come out on top in the end

(m)u had some great singles/b-sides (is this LOVE?, alterna, HEAVEN, Will), but those Sweetbox songs were just meh... I'd really want to know if she really picked them on her own or avex made her record them, then again I know a lot of people liked Bold & Delicious because it was something fresh, but I hate it with passion still

All in all, Secret > (m)u, and I wish Ayu would perform not only JEWEL, but other songs too to make people notice the awesomeness of this album

I liked JEWEL from the first listen, but hearing it in every friggin tv show would make anyone hate it... I mean, she performed it three times on Music Station alone x_X Then again it's been a pattern for Ayu since like, Dearest (or even SEASONS), to release a ballad in the autumn/winter season and perform it on every possible show ._. Maybe Ayu's becoming too predictable...

Anyhow, everybody buy Secret ^_^;

^ I agree, I think the Sweetbox songs being on there was really weird, and not really like Ayu

I mean, she is one of those artists who has assumed firm control over her image and her music (although we probably have to wonder about that now, since it's possible that avex made her put those songs on there, like you pointed out

LOL) All in all, I think we could have done without the "cover songs" on (miss)understood too.

And as for Ayu always performing JEWEL~ I think she should do Until that day...!

LOL Or 1 LOVE, both of which I think could stand alone as solid singles

SECRET has so many awesome, rockin' songs~ It's a shame she would just choose a ballad to perform from it

I think that's because it's a good buy if you're not a big fan and don't collect all albums of the artist~

Well, I suppose people are 1) just buying less CDs 2) losing interest in Ayu
