Your Favorite Ayu Studio Album

Yeah, I knoww, every Ayu forum has one of these threads.. But, who cares what those people think, right? This is *our* thread! ^_^

My favorite Ayu disc is LOVEppears. It's hard to go wrong with songs like Fly High, Truama, Boys & Girls..Not to mention the 2nd disc with some great remixes, etc. What's your favorite disc and why?

I voted with you, Shibo!^^ LOL LOVEppears is by far her *BEST* Every song on that album is gold, and you're right, the additional remix disc is just love!^^ Standout hit on LOVEppears: monochrome

I picked (miss)understood.  Don't know why, but I know its not as beloved as some other Ayu albums nor up to the same quality as other Ayu albums, I just picked it cuz it got the most plays out of the Ayu Cds i have

2nd would be Memorial Address, thats one of my faves if you wanna count that as an album.

I can't really make a list, and rank them all, but Secret, I am..., and My Story would probably be tied for 3rd or something.

Im actually really loving rainbow lately (the album), it's kinda tied with I Am for me I've just been listening to HANABI a lot recently

^ Waaaii, HANABI is one of my favourite Ayu songs! LOL Seriously, there is so little by her that I don't like~ and even those aren't so bad! LOL

This was hard, but I would say that I like I am... the most. It was the first Ayu album I bought.

It's gotta be Duty for me, the song is so much different from other artists, Something special about Ayu's songs I guess - only she can take that high note

Well, I got my copy of SECRET yesterday, and after countless plays on my iPod and now in my car stereo, I have to say that it is now among my top favourite Ayu albums of all time I know I criticised it pretty harshly at first, but honestly, I'm starting to think this could be Ayu's "comeback" album (I mean, I really liked a lot of songs on (miss)understood, but for some reason, they didn't translate to me as being *AYU,* if that makes any sense LOL). It has so many of her old influences intermixed with the new rock trend she started experimenting a lot with as early as in Memorial address, that I can't help but feel like this album truly personifies Ayu now, like I am... did for her back in 2002

No one has chosen yet Memorial address or MY STORY -I like both of them but chosed MY STORY because Arena Tour 2005 is my favorite Ayu DVD and it's full of MY STORY songs.

I think A BALLADS should get an honorable mention here~ I'm relistening to it tonight, and it really is one of Ayu's best albums (even if it *is* an album of reissues LOL) RAINBOW and Sotsugyou shashin are absolute gems, and the rearrangement of A Song for XX beats the original, hands-down

I agree!! Rainbow is such a powerful song to me that at least by the last line my eyes are tearing The whole album is really like that
