Braces!!!
Def: "Yaeba" (YAH-eh-bah), the famous cute crooked eye teeth that Japanese females often have, since Japanese children very rarely get braces put on their teeth, their parents leaving it for them to decide on their own when they grow up. For some idol fans, one isn't cute without it. And about half of our Momusu have it to some extent, even my own Kamei-chan (though you have to look close). Of course, Yossi doesn't; but, then, you can't improve on perfection.
I am happy about this selection, yaeba or no. I can only assume that Tsunko-san sees potential with regard to the voice (he does have a certain amount of experience in these matters). But he did surprise me. I don't know about you, but I've noticed a marked improvement in the sound since "Ambitious" came out. The last two singles are musically perfect. In the last two singles, I didn't have to pretend not to hear the sour notes because there weren't any. The "Amitious" performance near the end of "Wonderful Heartsland" was stunning -- I don't recall MM looking or sounding better at a live performance. It was so good, in fact, that I was worried about Ogawa and Kono leaving; why tinker with it when you've got it right? Even Sa... Never mind.
(but it's a fact that someone,
who's name is not metioned here,
has gotten pretty darn good in the
last few months, you can't deny it --
with or without batteries in her microphone.
But I didn't say anything, so shut up).
It was that guy over there.
He said it.
No, not that guy. The guy next to him.
Anyway, I digress. Welcome to Aika-chan!!! And the best thing about her so far? She didn't blubber like a baby. Now, that's impressive!
That's what we need around here! More ball-busting Yossi-like qualities.
