Apparently it has to do with the Asia feel that Tsunku will give to MoMusu songs next year, or that's the tiny idea whe got from his words, at least :pen_sweat:

I think Miki and Yossie wears a black suite and Miki a white one (don't they?), both leaders, high profile women hehe. Eri and Risa are the posh girls. Sayu and Takahashi in Kimono and Reina and Koharu in seifuku, indeed. Aika is the usual teen girl with no outfit. Does it means she might lead?

It reminds me of Souda! But in that PV all wear casual (colourful) clothes. Also, what's about the Asia feel? It might be a second coming of Love Machine with love and love over Japan's enviable future? I am wishing too much already. Souda and LM. HA! As if I wasn't pointing too high...

I think after your standard eye surgery, Aika will look somewhat like Sayumi. (We all know pretty much all pop-idols had some eye work done)

Apparently, the outfits are ALL for the new single..

Perhaps they want to show the sides of Japan / Asia..
So they use kimonos, office lady, schoolgirl, and "professional" outfits.. and I don't know about Aika.

Reina + Koharu -> school
Eri + Miki -> office lady
Yossie + Risa -> professionals
Ai + Sayu -> kimono~

Okay, here's my comment about this:

Mitsui Aika is a good choice, but honestly I think there were girls with more talent in the auditions. Sure, she's cute and all but that "performance" she did for BLUE BIRD was poor. It sounded as if she was almost talking...I'm sure she can sing out more but still. Maybe if Tsunku chose at least one other member to support the 8th generation.

I'm a bit disappointed because of the choice

) I agree that was not Aika-chan's best performance, but I think furusato showed potential and so did Aruiteru
