Though I originally planned to release this for Valentine's day but I got lazier and lazier til I got it done today... >_>' <_<'
Uh...
Yeah, this features my favorite couple!! I haven't written them in a long time, so I thought why not to writing them now? I just enjoy their chemistry so much

Spinning in Circles“Shitdamnpissfuck….” A petite Japanese woman cursed as she dragged the heavy bag on the ground. She just had to choose her shortest skirt today, didn’t she!? She felt her thighs become icicles… Oh well, at least she had decent boots on to cover most of it… She flipped her highlighted hair over her shoulder as she brought her other hand to the bag and attempted to pull it with both hands.
“Fuck…. ALL of them just HAD to make home-made chocolate! ALL of them!!” the woman exasperated as she continued to lug all the chocolates up to her apartment. “Maybe I should consider getting those luggage bags with the wheels… could make it SO much easier…” the shortest Morning Musume member grumbled, unconsciously rubbing herself against the white fur collar of her beige jacket for warmth, “I’ll be a total fat ass after eating all this chocolate…”
After a struggle to reach the building, she immediately swung the bag over her shoulder—a la caveman style—not giving a care of what others thought of her image anymore. She trudged over to the elevator and pressed for her floor and waited.
Staring at the metal doors, their voices began to ring in her head once more…
“Tanaka-san~! Here, I make chocolates for you!”
“Reina-san~! Think of me when you eat them… in the bath. Huhuhuhu…”
“I made chocolates for you! They’re in the shape of kitties for you~!”
“…and there’s puppies, kitties, bunnies, lions, tigers, pretty much everything in there under the sun just for you~! It’s totally fate and a MIRACLE that I found all those zoo-themed molds so I thought it’d be so cute to send to you and…”
“I made them pink for you~!”
“I’m sorry Reina! I think I burnt some…”
“Hey Tanakacchi~! I have chocolates for you~!”
“Here.”She almost wanted to flee from Koharu the second she saw her frolick towards her with a humongous bag… But noooo, she had to listen to the ‘miracle’ ramble on and on and on…and on…
If it wasn’t for their Morning Musume leader calling on another dance session on top of the scheduled session with Mayumi, Reina would have been strangling the poor girl… She had to thank the leader somehow, so she made a note to mail her once she got the bag of chocolates off her back.
“Somehow, I feel like santa…” Reina looked back at her bag, imagining a rucksack in its place. “Just give me the beard and obesity and voila. Chibi Santa.”
After a considerable moment, the elevator doors opened to her floor and she stepped out. As she walked towards her door, she rummaged through her pocket for her keys before finally finding them and unlocked her door. With a sigh, she pulled off her boots and set the sack of chocolates down on the table.
That bed corner peeking through the door cracks of her room was looking very inviting… She swung her jacket around the stand in the corner and headed straight for her bedroom. Thank goodness the headboard of the bed was against the wall from which she walked in, for she simply ran and fell backwards, landing on the bed perfectly.
“Fricken Valentine’s Day….Thank god we don’t do this on White Day…” Reina crossed her arms and turned over to the side…
…To face someone else staring right back at her!?
She screamed aloud as she punched the sight in front of her, only to feel her fist connect with nothing. When she opened her eyes, she saw that her intruder had merely propped their head up before setting it right on her hand.
“How mean, I was expecting a kiss,” a mischievous glint appeared in mocha eyes.
“@*&#%!!!!!!” Reina pulled her hand away from the other and immediately turned her back against the other, crossing her arms and pouting.
“Aww… is the kitty mad at me?”
“Damn it, I’m not a kitty, you fox! How the hell did you get into my apartment anyway?!”
“I have a friend who lives in the floor above, so I dropped onto your balcony below…” the said fox moved in closer on her prey, resting an arm over Reina’s stomach. “Stop forgetting to lock your balcony doors,” eager lips claimed the other’s ear.
“Pfft…” Reina rolled her eyes, ignoring the faint flush on her face. “You’re the one always breaking in my apartment…”
“Well, what if Miki comes in instead of me?”
Reina’s face became blank.
Registering the silence as a reply, the elder chuckled. “That bad?”
“No… It’s just…
She’s done it before…”
“Hnn?” the other released her hold on the other’s ear, “Do I need to do something?”
“N-no!” Reina turned around, meeting her usual intruder, “Maki, you don’t have to do anything… Miki’s just Miki is all…”
“I see,” the soloist smiled, bronze tresses covering both of her eyes.
“Just came in to take some of the dvds I forgot to give back to her is all…” Reina mumbled as she meekly pushed Maki’s bangs aside. “How long have you been waiting here?”
“Not long, maybe ten minutes?”
“Did you know I was coming?”
“I saw you trying to take a new route to your house and getting lost, so I thought why not?” a smile graced the elder’s lips.
“Fuck you!” Reina slapped Maki lightly on the arm holding her.
“Don’t you already?” a grin showed up at the taller’s face, eliciting a meltdown on Reina’s end.
“Feh! You’re impossible!” the kitten growled, wonky eyes ever dangerous. Or would that be cute? “I swear, I don’t know who’s worse to deal with, you or Fujimoto…” Reina pressed her fingers to her temple, massaging them.
“Want me to kiss it better?” Maki offered as she came closer to the other’s forehead to do the honors, but was stopped as a hand practically slapped itself on her face and pushed her back slightly.
“No way, not until you tell me why you’re here,” Reina’s left eye twitched in irritation at Maki’s sudden eagerness for more contact—though the faint blush on her cheeks still lingered.
“Well it’s Valentine’s day, I thought I’d give you a present…” the Avex soloist unraveled herself from their loose embrace to reach out for something at the far edge of the bed.
The curious kitten blinked before her eyes began to sparkle radiantly.
“Happy Valentine’s Day, my queen,” a soft smile graced Maki’s lips as she presented the said royalty with a long thin box. The top was transparent enough so eyes could lay its vision upon the treasure within—a thin gorgeous silver necklace with an intricate swirled design which resembled a cross rested upon a black-velvet cushion.
The younger couldn’t contain her excitement! She squealed aloud and immediately took the box off of the other’s hand. Her wonky eyes resonantly shined further upon closer inspection of the gift, eliciting a confident smirk on Maki’s end. When Reina looked up at the other’s eyes, she saw that question reflect in them, asking her if she had liked the gift.
In response, she wrapped her hands around the older’s neck and threw herself at her, kissing the other zealously. With the momentum, Reina wound up on top of Maki as the latter wrapped her arms around her waist to steady the balance. Breaking apart from the other, Reina grinned goofily amidst the ever darkening red of her face.
“Thanks, I’ve always wanted this, but how did you know…? I mean, we were too busy to shop around together ‘cause of our schedules…”
“Well…” Maki put on another fox-like smile, “I have my connections to a certain… character in your midst…”
“It’s that Emofag, isn’t it?”

“HACHAAYA!” Ai sneezed, much to the bewilderment of Risa who nearly sprang up and clung to the ceiling.
“Whoa~! That was sudden!” the surprised sub-leader squeaked.
A serious expression returned to the Morning Musume leader’s face.
“Ai-chan? A single sneeze could mean someone’s talking about you…”
The said petite leader simply rubbed at her nose lightly.
“…I think someone called me an Emofag again.”

“May-haps,” Maki said in a sing-song voice as she fiddled with Reina’s bangs. “So what about me? Do you have something for me?”
Reina’s face immediately imploded with a dark crimson.
“Well uh…”
“You didn’t forget, did you?” Maki raised a brow at the rather odd reaction she received.
“No uh… It’s not that… It’s just uh… Embarassing…” Reina avoided meeting Maki’s gaze as she sat up, straddling the elder.
“Well come out with it. You’re supposed to be the really blunt, rude one,” the short haired woman blinked incredulously. Still not hearing an answer from the other, Maki continued, “Well if it really is too embarrassing to say, then kiss me.”
“What?!” Reina perked up, “Didn’t I already!?”
“Well that was a cute, chaste one…”
“As it was supposed to be…”
“Let’s see you be the one administering the sexiness,” a smirk appeared at the fox’s lips once more.
“That’s YOUR job,” the kitten glared at the other.
“But for once, let’s have a change of pace. I can only be sexy for so long…”
Reina almost wanted to punch Maki for winking so lecherously, but the last time she did that, the punch became blocked, and then more fists and kicks went flying, but then the wrestling started to involve clothes flying off and well… let’s not get into that.
Maki, on the other hand, was amused at the expression her lover was making at her. Adorable eyebrows furrowed into each other as lips pouted in frustration. She chuckled as she saw Reina’s cheeks redden further and further with each passing second, definitely debating on her ultimatum.
“Asshole…” Reina muttered before swooping down to claim the other’s lips.
Sure enough, there was
definitely some oomph in there…The younger’s tongue forced its way into familiar surroundings, searching for the spots that drove Maki crazy. A lone hand snaked its way up Reina’s body and ran through highlighted hair, pushing her head even closer to her own.
Needing oxygen, Reina merely pulled away, panting heavily as she connected foreheads with the other. “There, now I can save it for a surprise later…”
“Actually, I think I got it figured out….” A smirk appeared on the older’s face. “I saw something rather questionable in between the bed and nightstand…”
“Shit, you really did figure it out!” Reina retorted as she sat up once more, smacking her face with the palm of her hand. “So er.. in order for my present to be uh…
effective… Are you free to sleep over tonight?”
“Of course I am.”
“…You have to wake up early for something, don’t you?”
“…Of course I am!” Maki chuckled as she also sat up, clinging loosely to Reina’s waist whilst looking up at her through long eye lashes, “you know I can’t give up an opportunity to spend time with you if I know I could make it~”
“…I swear, if you die because of me…” Reina rolled her eyes aside.
“Well if that happens, you DO know I’ll take you with me, right?” the fox raised a brow as if Reina had just sprouted a second head.
“Says who!?” Reina lurched back in surprise, pushing Maki away by her shoulders.
“Kidding~” Maki laughed as she pushed down on Reina’s elbows, causing the other to move closer yet again.
“That was a bad joke!” Reina puffed up her cheeks.
“Oh? Will I get punished for this?” Maki tilted her head in a mischievous smile at the other.
“No, you’ll just have to do something that will make me forgive you,” wonky eyes narrowed at the impossible person whose lap she was sitting on.
“And that will be?”
“…I’m not saying it! We went through this already with that kiss and all!” A fierce blush returned to the flustered Reina’s cheeks.
“Is it really that hard~?” Maki looked up at her playfully.
“Of course!” Reina must have been speaking in her native tongue by now, but who cared? Maki pretty much knew what she said most of the time anyway…
“Please?” The soloist batted her eyelashes and pouted cutely.
“No!” Reina closed her eyes and looked away from the other, adamant upon her position.
“If you say so~” Maki laughed as she pushed the younger off of her lap and proceeded to get off of the bed.
“Where are you going?” Reina stared as Maki walked out of her bedroom.
“Getting something to drink. By the way, your milk expired again so I threw that out. That fine with you?”
“Uh… Sure…” Reina, like an adorable duckling, began to follow the other.
“So how was work today…?” Maki’s eyes wandered over the rather huge bag sitting on the table, “chocolates from the other members?”
“Yeah… It took fucking forever to lug them up here,” Reina sat at the table and rested her head on the palm of her hand.
“A petite person like you carrying a sack twice your size… What a cute image!” Maki grinned as she pulled out a glass from the cup board and filled it up with apple juice from Reina’s refrigerator. “The image would have been a lot more funnier if you were there while I was in Morning Musume, we’d all have to literally come to work with our biggest bags empty just to fit chocolates in them.”
“Whoop-di-du…” Reina picked up a random pen nearby and began to twirl it effortlessly between her fingers.
“Ah, bored already?” Maki chuckled as she took a sip of the apple juice and leaned against the refrigerator. Seeing that the other refused to answer, she added on “Can’t wait til tonight, huh?”
Seeing the blush return to the sulking kitty, the fox couldn’t help but laugh once more, “Ah, Reina… You’re just too adorable.”
“Che…” the wonky eyed woman rolled her eyes, “Still an ass…”
“I prefer the term ‘a lovesick fool,’ dear,” pretending to be a doting mother, Maki bent over on the table and pinched the younger’s cheek, “You cutie patootie, you…”
“Greaaat,” Reina’s brow twitched, “You’ve totally turned into Ishikawa…”
“And you totally turn into a sexy and submissive Reina that screams my name when I pin you down and—”
“Maki!!!” Reina’s crimson face writhed and twitched, “Damn it, why are you always playing with words like that?!”
“Hnn…” The avex soloist looked up from beneath her bangs with a finger on her cheek, “…’cause it’s fun to mess with you?”
If Reina’s words could be animated, it’d be in the form of playstation buttons.
“I kid,” Maki took another sip of the juice, “but it is partially the truth, you really
are fun to mess with,” she ended the last bit with a wink.
“Pfft… Why do you keep confusing me? Just say the truth then, don’t beat around the bush. Can’t be that hard…” the Morning Musume member muttered in a pout.
“Just like it’s not hard saying to me what your gift for me is, yet you can’t say it?”
“Because it’s fucking embarassing~!” Reina whined as she hit her head on the table with each word. “Why don’t you say it since you have been avoiding it too!” she pointed an accusing finger at the sly fox in front of her.
“It’s
yourgift to me, so I’d rather
you say it openly since it’s
your gift.”
“Even so…!”
“Even so?”
Reina was at a loss for words at this point. She continued to clenched her teeth at this … this
impossible woman in front of her.
“I love you.”
The younger blinked, “What was that all of a sudden?”
“I don’t have permission to say ‘I love you’ to my girlfriend?” the other tilted her head in bemusement.
“Obviously you do, but why say that all of a sudden?”
“Hnn… I’m just using every chance I can…” for some reason, Maki’s smile seemed to have faded a little bit… Reina blinked, confused at the sudden downturn of the other.
“What do you mean?” Round cat eyes innocently looked up at the other’s own half-lidded ones.
“This is my answer to your previous question of why I like to confuse you,” Maki set the cup on the table as she leaned over to caress Reina’s cheek with one hand while she supported herself with her elbow on the middle of the table.
“What is? I’m confused…” again, that curiosity in her enlarged brown eyes shined brightly. She grew more confused as Maki chuckled once more as if she was missing the most obvious point in the world. She knit her brow together in frustration at Maki’s obvious stalling for the answer. “What is it?” she tried to ask once more.
“Well, I like to confuse you because what I love most is making you
understand…”
Reina blinked before allowing the words to settle within her head.
“I don’t know when something unexpected will happen to me or you, so I’m using every chance I have with you, whether it costs my sleep or costs my health is none of my concern. All I wanna do is be with you instead of using my time to do other things that will definitely not be measured up to your presence.”
Reina remained silent, but the blush on her cheeks indicated her response.
“I love you, Reina…” the older leaned forward to kiss the other quickly on the lips, but kept their faces close, “Every moment that I’m alive, I’ll find a way to spend it with you…”
“You don’t…” Reina sighed as she attempted to calm the fire in her face, “You don’t have to make it sound like you’re about to die any minute now…”
“Life is fleeting, my dear… So instead of worrying about what may come, let’s just worry about what’s happening now,” she pulled back out of the other’s face and drank the rest of the apple juice.
The kitten simply watched the other, still registering what had just transpired through her eyes. She knew what she was getting into, dating someone four years older than her and all, but why did it feel like she was dating someone who was Nakazawa’s age? Perhaps older? Were those mere four years really that much to set the apart the maturity…?
She pouted again. She and Aika were four years apart as well and the maturity difference between them wasn’t THAT much… Yet Maki…
So this was what it felt like to be naïve…
“Hnn… while we wait for perfect timing… should we go out shopping or—”
“Maki.”
The fox turned around whilst putting the cup in the sink. “Yes, what is it?”
For the umpteenth time, a crimson far more redder than the others she’s blushed today appeared on what seems to be a snarling face, eliciting bemusement on Maki’s part.
“…I look forward to our chocolate escapade…
in bed…” She said the latter part almost inaudibly…
Maki paused for a moment, looking at the growling and flustered person sitting at the table with her gaze refusing to meet her own.
“That was quite… flowery,” the fox raised a brow.
“Damn it, I pretty much said to do me with the added bonus of chocolate syrup, what other embarrassing thing do you want me to say!?” Reina slammed both of her hands flat on the table. After panting from her little outburst, she suddenly realized what had just spewed from her mouth and clapped her hand to it, looking scandalized as Maki laughed.
“Fuck you!” Reina bared her fangs at the fox as she slammed a fist on the table again.
“That’s for tonight~!”
“ARGH!!”
“Such an adorable kitten…”
“Fucking fox…”
“You sure got that right.”
“MAKI!!!”
