To my fellow JPH!P members I couldn't have done it without u all...
I would like to dedicate this award to MariMari, although I did not know him personally, it is because of him and others like him that have allowed allowed all Hello Project fans all over the world to enjoy those superfly chicas... in high-def no doubt...

I kinda didn't understand what this was about...

But I think they cut a nice tradition by not choosing a real person. It's almost the same thing as giving Nobel prizes to organizations... I just like awarding real people more.

well wasn't Bin Laden a finalist for this award a few years ago... i remember that Time got alot of heat for that one

still i could think of one person who should have recieved it... the guy who introduced micro-loans to third world countries, in Latin America women now have the means to produce local products and sell them to consumers/retail outlets

I don't think the American public would be very happy to have the neo-Marxist Bangladeshi economics professor Muhammad Yunus as Man of the Year. That whole Hizb ul-Tahrir philosophy confuses and frightens the heck out of Yanks or it would if they even knew what it was. Okay, a guy named Muhammad scares the crap out of them any way.

On a serious note, this is rubbish. I understand what they're trying to say and all, but they really shoot themselves in the foot by citing places like MySpace. Methinks they're attaching a little too much significance to a site that's mostly weepy teen blogs with Linkin Park embeds.
