I think people killed by 'overweight' and related deseases ranks pritty high on the 'death number' scale.

Haven't machines like this existed for a long long time?  They burn food and measure how much heat is generated.  That's what a "calorie" is - the amount of heat generated from burning proteins, carbs, and fat.
