:o  thank god my school does not have any "kendo lessons".... cause i think if there is... i would end up worser than that boy...:rofl: but that's just... WOW!!.... maybe the teacher failed to download MM stuffs that morning... 8)

Wow! Quite shock for me! :o  But think about the past, wasn't the warriors and samurais in the old old time also have to receive this kind of training? May be it is the best way to make people to be strong! :roll:

That was when they risked their lives everyday as a warrios, but Kendo lost its martial focus since the 1970's.

One of the fundamentals of modern Kendo (at least in the dojo I went to) is to take care of your fellow kenshi and, as in Judo, always pursuit the common welfare. "The student learns from the teacher while the teacher learns from the student" is a mandatory way ofthinking if you don't want to be overcome by your own pride. Maybe that guy forgot he wasn't training Samurai but young student who love or are getting tolove Kendo (a beautiful art if you ask me)... As a fellow kenshi I'm sad about this incident because some student at that school may want to get out of Kendo club and I can't help thinking about the Kendo club a friend and me started in  college almost two years ago.
