Really? If that was supposed to happen, they probably just decided to hold off on his return until Day 7, since it quickly became apparent that they were fucking up Day 6.

CTU being broken up? Meh. I don't have an attachment to the organization, and I'm sure things will be about the same by mid-season.

The trial? Ugh. That could jump the shark worse than last season if it goes on too long.[/bgcolor]

^lol, their excuse for Tony NOT being dead is because at the end of the episode there was "sound" on the timer...

there's only "no sound" on the timer when some main character actually dies...

...lame, i'm sure some die-hard fan picked up on it before.

I'm not a fan of bringing back supposedly 'dead' characters back so late after it happened. Just feel cheated in some way, and it feels cheap. And I do hope the trial doesn't last long. Sure in 24 time they could say it only took up 4 hrs of the day or so, but that's 4 weeks in real time. I dunno, need more info on the main story arc before I pass judgement

First episode: Jack is driven to the court house. He chats with his attorneys a bit. They send a paralegal out to get them all coffee.

Cut to the prosecutors doing the same and rehearsing.

At the end of the episode they enter the court house.

Second episode: The defense asks for bail. The prosecution objects. The defense raises the point that anywhere Jack goes, including the court house or the prison will inevitably be attacked by terrorists.

The judge agrees to allow bail, and also, surprisingly, to move the proceedings to North Dakota.

The trailer for "DAY 7" is out, and Tony is back..

As stupid as it is bring a "dead guy" back, it's just obvious they realized how much of a fuck up day 6 was, and they should never have killed him off in the first place... Hell, they should have just skipped all of day 6 completely..
