Internet leak of personal pics strips teaser of privacyLeah Dizon, a model whose exotic looks and background have raised expectations of her revolutionizing Japan's notoriously fickle pin-up world, has become the latest victim of having very personal photos leaked online, according to Shukan Post (1/1-5).
Leah -- dubbed the "Black Ship of the Pin-Up World" in an allusion to the gunships U.S. Navy Commodore Matthew Perry guided when he forcibly opened Japan's doors to the outside world in the 1850s -- has a bloodline with links to China, the Philippines, France and the U.S.
She started her showbiz career in the U.S. before moving to Japan and quickly establishing a firm following that has her on the brink of superstardom in this country.
"Japanese have been talking about her for much of the past year, when her photos started appearing on the Internet. She's become known for her cosplay photos, particularly steamy shots of her decked out in a schoolgirl's sailor suit uniform," the chief editor of a magazine about showbiz idols tells Shukan Post.
Then just when it looked the Eurasian cover girl cum aspiring actress's popularity was on the verge of taking off even further, a dozen or so candid photos of her appeared on the web. One shows her with her arms wrapped around the shoulders of an unidentified man -- who doesn't seem to be enjoying her affection at all. In another, she is shown wearing a tank top, and rubbing her breasts against a man's chest.
What's behind the leaking of these obviously privately shot pics?
"These were all taken while she was in the US," explains her agent in Japan. "Since only registered users can post publicized items on that blog, it must have been done by a registered user.

"Ms. Dizon insists these photos were shot privately for her own use," the spokesperson adds. "The kiss in the photo was intended as no more than a 'friendly greeting' and she is not currently going with anyone. If she were, she would not have come to Japan."
Well, touching and kissing might be how Americans exchange greetings, but for Japanese males, mutters Shukan Post, these kind of kissy-feely exchanges might be a bit too stimulating. Still, the writer concludes tongue in cheek, he is more than willing to tolerate these kind of "friendly greetings" from a sexy cutie like Leah.
