Well, I'm really not playing the boot game anymore, after today. Sayu was immuned, but thelastangel changed his vote at 3:49pm today, and since his post was before the rest of us, it is counted first, so Sayu was booted. I don't change my vote unless I mistakenly vote for someone that was already immuned or booted, so changing it this way makes the rest of the votes just look useless. You can still enjoy the game if you like, but this kind of things takes the fun out of it for me.

Ahh, she got booted because someone changed their vote.  What an inglorious end for Shige.  Can't say I didn't see it coming though.

Cute pic, huggums :D

Edit: Too slow :p

It's sucky she got booted like that reyfer, but the exact same thing happened to Goto.  All that support she got from the Maki fans then 1 edit screwed her over completely.

I'm not going to stop playing because of it, I'm just going to stick behind another girl (Chinami), because, it happens.  But if you hate every other H!P member then, yeah, stop playing :D

I don't hate anybody, just saying that during game 1, this did not happen. And what's the point of staying alert to make your vote, if an edit will render it useless? I mean, I vote now, and right before the tally tomorrow, the person that posted before me changes his/her vote, and during the tally that vote is counted first, no matter if it was changed after the rest, so all votes made after his/hers are rendered useless even when they were casted before his/her edit. That's all I'm saying. It could have been with any girl and I would still feel the same.

^ I understand, but what I'm saying is that that happened with Goto.  She was on something like (2,6), then got enough votes to take her up to something like (8,6).

Then, during the tally we find an edit saying someone changed to a boot vote just before the Maki fans came in.  It's the same situation, and I'm just as annoyed as you are, but it's part of the game so, why stop playing just because of it?

I see you didn't get my point, but that's okay. The fun for you is not the same as the fun for me. What got me excited about game 1 was that you had to stay on top of it so your vote was casted before everyone else's. Now, all you have to do is vote and then wait to edit right before the tally, and that's it. There is no real "race" for the votes. Not exciting enough for me. I'm not saying it's a bad game, on the contrary, just that it doesn't seem as funny as game 1 to me.

I didn't get your point?  Isn't your point that even after you give all your support, someone can just edit and ruin all your work?  My point is that what happened to Sayu happened to Goto.

This didn't happen in GAME1, but it could have, maybe this was just a bad round.  Never mind anyway, it's your choice if you don't want to play.

i think reyfer wants to say that it is supposed to be a race to vote your H!P girl for immunity before other could boot her out but the effort is rendered useless coz the previous voters could edit their post and say change an immune vote to a boot vote...and at a crucial situation...a single edit could change the outcome....

That's what I have been saying all along :D  All the Maki votes rendered useless.  This one thing shouldn't stop you from playing the game though, nothing is different from GAME1, just some bad luck and timing.

Too much confusion, let's get back to talking about adorable Sayu.

I was afraid of upsetting people when I booted Sayu...but I did that yesterday...my last edit today was my IMMUNE vote...from Goto to Takahashi.
At least 12 hours passed since my boot edit and no one said anything.  I wanted to boot Sayu originally, but I thought it could do it in the next round...I PM'd a couple of people after I made the change to get their perspective and no on had a problem with it.

Anyway the edit was not last minute...and I am not the only one who has changed a vote during a round...it has become part of the game as it has evolved and we all became more protective of our favorite H!P members.

I think it is kind of unethical what I did...but is is also strategy that is being used in the game.  There are some alliances that make it difficult to support who you like when you are voting alone so opportunities are seized.  In GAME1 I lost my favourite...becasue the Wonky Crew worked together...I did not get upset (well only a little bit)...I just thought how can I avoid this situation.  The only option is to keep the IMMUNE votes high at all times to avoid a "one" person edit causing a boot.

I changed my boot vote when I saw that Gocchin was at risk and Sayumi was too strong to keep in the game.  I like Sayu but I also have to play the game and use the same strategies and allinaces as everyone else. Sorry I have tarnished the game for you reyfer - that was never my intention.

No problem, I'm not mad at you or anybody, just that this changing votes thing changed the game for me, that's all. It is still a hell of a game, and if the Mayuge Choir ever needs a vote, I'll be glad to post it, but I won't be as active as before, that's all

@ thelastangel:  I don't think you need to justify changing your vote, you didn't break any rules and it's just a game after all.  The only thing I would disagree about is that Sayumi was "too strong". She's clearly an underdog around here XD

Well, Chinami and Sayu have the exact same jaw-line, surely that shows proof of some sort of an alliance.  Chinamism4lyfe.
