Interesting screen shots. I really wanna see this one. Rina is a hot girl, but doesn't strike me as the gravure 'type'. I'm glad her IV is typical, though I wouldn't mind her having a scene similar to Risa's of popsicle denial.

I've always thought that Rina was a very pretty girl. She has a beautiful face. I was pretty sad when she had to step out of the AKB48 limelight due to health problems. But after watching this video, holy hell..

Her body is epic.

I quite like the song now, it has a high 'feel good' factor. Just like with 10nen, this song has some strange transitions

Yeah I felt the screen time for each member was a lot better than with 10nen. For example, Kashiwagi got a couple of shots, while she was completely invisible in 10nen. Kitahara, Matsui R, Mayuyu, Myao, Kasai, Sae, etc are all easy to spot in the pv, which is great. Still a lot of Acchan and Jurina, but it's not that bad. Plus a lot of screen time for Itano and Yuko!

I thought they would try to pimp Fujie a lot more in this pv though. She's been featured so much on AKBingo! lately, with the marathon and stuff.. I thought they'd push her forward in this pv as well, but she only got like half a second.

Full version is much better with the wacky stuff.

So happy to see Kashiwagi get some screen time.
Got hooked to her since Temo Demo no Namida, becoming one of my fave members of AKB, and making me watch Team B stuff (I was skipping it all this time, silly me). Kuchiutsushi no Chocolate should be labeled a drug.

Finding her in Baby Baby Baby was like finding Wally. Friggin' impossible!

^glad you like it. About the No3bs single, it is listed as 'cancelled' on cdjapan and other sites. No info yet as to why it is cancelled.. it may just be delayed or something.

I don't mind the little drawings, but I think they could've gotten a better picture. Only a couple of them look good in it.

The sales for Namida Surprise are pretty epic.. surprisingly. They're over 90k after 4 days

Too bad they won't get #1 on the weekly charts, but I guess the number of cds sold is more important.

edit: wow, 104.000 sold in the first week

On Sunday, multiple news outlets in Japan reported on the performance, saying that this is just the start of AKB48 making a push overseas. According to the news, AKB48 is planning to perform in New York in September, followed by a concert in Cannes, France, in October. If the information is true, AKB48 will likely be a guest at the New York Anime Festival, which takes place September 25-27. However, no official statement has been made yet by NYAF or AKB48's management.
