Now i have nothing against JE, in fact i listen to their artists as well as watching them doing funny stuff (that's one of the reason i love Japanese entertainment in general). But i Love H!P more. hey i'm a guy, i support my fellow men, but i love the ladies

great to hear that our Miracle-chan is doing fine on the charts, just one questions, who exactly is she up against? i know JE's Arashi is one of it, but who are the others artists?

I'm hoping she be in the top 5 in the first week. taking number two would be great, but since i don't know the sales, i can't make any guesses. wondering if someone could tell me how she did this past week?

Hooray for Koharu, or should i say Tsukishima Kirari. haha. she's still a young soloist just barely reached her teens and she gots to go up against these big artists and still kept her ground.
Balalaika total sales was in the 70k, which makes it like the best selling single by an H!P artist of 2006. that's some feat, not even MM's best selling single, Aruiteru with ~50k, beat that. of course, it tooks around 23 weeks to achieved that sales. i wonder how Happy gonna do, hope it'll do good. top 5 is well within reach, isn't it? let aim for top 3 then.

I wonder what would happen if koha changed her artistic name to kirari in morning musume. Momosu's sales would skyrocket

I kinda feel liek I wanted this success from balalaika cuz I prefer that song - but i guess the length of balalaika let more people notice the kirari songs which made them want to get the next one.

Yay Koharu~!

The rankings do confuse me though, or rather the numbers. There's no first-day number, but evidently she sold less than 3284 (KinKi Kids). So am I supposed to believe she went from <3284 on release day to 5095? Potentially, that could be almost doubling sales from first-day to second-day. And third-day sales are 2661, potentially equalling first-day sales, or at least fairly close. That is breaking so many single-sales "laws".

How can that be. Is Wednesday super little-girl shopping day? Do Japanese parents never buy stuff on Tuesdays? Is there something I don't know about?

I'm not usually a conspiracy theorist except to joke, but this is fishy. I'm thinking about the omg-oricon-is-lying articles...

Anyway, hoping for #2! She might be able to do it, since Tachibana Keita and KinKi are falling.

Koharu did perform the song on Oha Star on Wednesday morning. I think that has helped sales.

She managed to get the weekly #2! Sales are about 27K, which is slightly less then Balalaika.
