First of all diav, I just wanted to say, it's great seeing you post!  GJ!

And yeah, Rika's got the attitude and look down pat, now she's just gotta work on her cooking skills (which she seems to be doing lately anyway).

I'm pretty sure Rika is because she seems to cook more (and I remember in one of the earlier gameshows Yossie said she was horrible at cutting vegetables up into smaller pieces  ), but apparently they're both not very good.

Lol, there was a show where Yossy was telling a story of how Rika (and Kei-chan) were lazy and didn't wanna cook but complaining about being hungry so told Yossy to go and cook something. So Yossy had to go search the fridge and saw some leftover rice so she made some fried rice xD

AND that 4th gen Ganko family skit thing. Tsuji was like "you suck at doing housewife things" to Rika and Yossy was all "to protect her, I'll say... her cooking has gotten better but she still sucks at [something I can't remember xD]".

So Rika has gotten better at cooking apparently xD

石川梨華　年初に足の裏の手術を受けていた

2月18日　00時03分

　元モーニング娘。の石川梨華（25）が足の裏の手術をしていたことをモバゲータウンの日記で明らかにした。

　石川が手術を受けたのは今年初頭。二年ほど前からかかとと土踏まずの間に豆粒程度の大きさのモノができはじめ、病院で診断した結果、切って取り出す必要があると告げられた。

　仕事の都合があったため事務所と相談した上で年初に休みを取り、手術をしたのだが、「痛かったよ…　部分麻酔がね」とのことで辛い体験になったようだが、無事に取り除き、さらに悪性のものではなかったという。

　そして、「ただ、しばらく松葉杖だったし、抜糸が終わってちゃんと傷口がふさがるまでは安心出来なかったので」という状態にあったのだ。発表がこの時期になった理由は、石川と吉澤ひとみのユニットHANGRY&ANGRYのライブが終わるのを待っていたため。

「私、なかなかの回復力だったのでもう大丈夫なのだ」と完全に今は元気なようだ。

- It was removed when she took a break off work
- She was on crutches for a while to let the stitches heal
- She waited until after the hANGRY & ANGRY live shows to be finished before making this announcement

WHOA!!! thanks for that diav. I love how she waited AFTER the live shows. Not drawing attention to herself or making people feel sorry for her with "GABATTE!! CHARMY!" chants. Cute, sexy, modest, NOT AN ATTENTIONWHORE!!

Sometimes I forget all the physical demand Rika must go through - dancing, GATAS, the travel.

That's one of the things I so love about how IshiYoshi used to be. Yossie couldn't quite ever just give Rika a full compliment - she always has to throw in something to bite ^___^ and also vice versa; after teasing Rika, she inserts something sweet, hehehe...

J-Triumf's translation mentioned that it had been lodged there for 2 years. That's surprising - why hadn't she gotten it out earlier? Didn't notice it? Was too busy?
And how did it even get there in the first place...

That's just one of many things that's so admirable about her.
She never gives up and keeps working hard no matter what. So of course a little something lodged in her foot would hardly put her off.

Rika's not a child anymore - she doesn't need that kind of energy to feed off of anyway. She's a full-fledged performer now and that's top priority! It's all about her performance and her providing entertainment - that's the message she's sending!  A little foot problem is nothing to her!

Do you know how to read or... ??

No problem~  I like spreadin' the Rika love.
I'm actually Chinese, so I know some kanji and have been attempting to teach myself Japanese. ;__;  I usually skim through Rika's entries and pick out the kanji I recognize in Chinese and try to see if it makes any sense in my head (in Chinese, lol).... and then I go back and try to read through the hiragana. lol That's my failboat method to trying to understand Jap.
