I felt kind of bad cheering for the Cavs yesterday, since I know whoever wins the series will be killed by San Antonio anyway :/

Yeah, I was really surprised in the 4th. I thought it would come down to the last basket yet again, but the Pistons kinda gave up *edit*and Gibson rocked out*edit*. Go Cavs! I'll root for the underdog even though I still think the Spurs will dominate

Congrats to the Cavs. It's their first time going to the finals. Too bad they're going to get owned by the Spurs.

gilbert arenas getting cocky again. :barf:
http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news?slug=txwizardsarenas&prov=st&type=lgns

You can't blame him or say he doesn't deserve a bigger contract, he signed the contract he has now before he became a 'star' player, you got people who haven't even really proven themselves signing bigger contracts than Gilbert (ie Joe Johnson), so hopefully the man gets what he deserves. You can't deny the hibachi clutchness of his game!

And hott DAMN why the hell do the Cavs wait til 6 minutes left in the 4th quarter to show up?!??!? Bring that sh*t for 48 minutes!!

These finals are just anti-climactic.  Spurs sweep Cavs.

By that point, the Spurs stopped caring and let them back in the game.

^Yep...i think the same way of what the Spurs did. I would like to assume that the Spurs would let one game go so they could win the championships at home xD.

EDIT: Although i know the spurs are probably gonna win, but DAMN the cavs lost again >.<.

I was excited to see the Cavs topped the east over the Pistons cuz it would bring something different to the finals... instead of a Piston-Spurs matchup again.  However,  down 3-0... its pretty much a wrap. :fainted:

Oh... and just a note. I heard they changed which games would be played where for the final 3 games in this series. Before it would be SA-SA-Cleveland-Cleveland-SA-Cleveland-SA...
now they changed it to SA-SA-Cleveland-Cleveland-Cleveland-SA-SA

^The 2-3-2 format has been used for the Finals for some years now, so its not actually new.

The game went as I expected. The Cavs came out playing with energy but the Spurs took control as both teams settled in. Seeing the road team struggling to make baskets is normal but the home team as well? At times it felt more like a college game than the NBA finals.

I was completely wrong... I figured the Cavs would at least put up a fight and this would be entertaining, even if they were swept. *sigh* guess Suns vs Spurs WAS the finals... too bad it was tainted by Draconian Law :P
