I think think you're exaggerating the performance of Reina some.. she went from like 6/10 performances to 8/10 performances. She is better than a certain person, who went from like 2/10 performances to 3.5/10 performances, even sounded bad in some of the recorded music. Had to turn down the music, was that bad.

I may not be a singer but I can tell when a song is difficult, and Reina has sung plenty of others songs in the past with major vocal roles that really aren't anywhere near as testing, yet this performances is so much better. I'll be honest and say Reina has struggled with some songs on the past where she's had the lead role but I really thought this performance was a massive step up. There may be other better singers but watching that video, there's no-one else I would rather see performing it.

It is funny, all of my peers here, even in Asian Music club think that anyone who likes Hello Project(none of them know of any other girl groups) is mentally retarded,Or insane. They all like BoA, Ayumi, asian kung fu generation, kat tun,  and all those other boy band groups. (of course, most of them are girls)

Different strokes for different folks dude. H!P fans know that fans of other Japanese music groups or styles don't/won't/aren't able to take them seriously or respect that fact. So long as those other people don't start bashing/insulting/mocking H!P fans or the members the fans like, then there's no worries.

Agreed, it's easy to point out what other people see as faults in peoples music tastes but after all it is all opinion. I must say though though that I think a lot of people hold a grudge against Momosu because they either jsut plain don't get it or stuff you read on the Internets imply ain't true. Hell, I even hated Momosu for two years.

Aaaanyway, I'm really looking forward to the new DVD now, it will have to be bought on the strength of that performance alone.

Well everyone is entitled to their own opinions and if they don't like something who cares as long as you like it don't worry about what other people think say or do. Now about the performance if you really aren't a Reina fan or MM fan you wouldn't know how much she improved until now. Her past performances were just ok and her voice was a little shaky but in this one she really gave it her all and to me (and other people) she sounded perfect. I understand if you don't see it and thats fine but this is the Reina thread so lots of nice and encouraging comments are posted here. I admire Reina's determination and not just her looks (even though she is cute) she has been through a lot and has grown and matured since when she first started out in the 6th gen. Sorry for ranting on its just that I am a reina fan so I felt like expressing my opinion.

I intended it to sound like that. Aichan is lovely, i like the way she does her thing on stage, but of course as much as I  like exagerrating about things concerning Reina, I'm biased as well.

As for the comment about liking Reina for her looks. Yeah, I think she's beautiful but it isn't just that about her that I like, her character is amazing to and I personally am in love with her voice. Personally, it isn't all about looks, it's about how they act, and Reina is one cool girl.

Okay I get the point.. say one slightly not good thing about the person and you die. Shockingly, most of the time I have seen fans express hostilty to another person were almost always fans of Reina specifically. (Not just on this site, even sites that had nothing to do with Hello Project or Jpop at all, they were even worse than the fans of rock bands in general television)

btw, omg I can't wait to see more videos of Reina, she is so much very cuteness and good voiceness and coolness and improving her hard so much since first came  !!

Everyone is entitled to have their own opinions, good or bad. If you think some of us were exaggerating, then okay, but there's no reason to say it. I'm not saying you have to watch ALL of Reina's previous performances, but watching some of them would tell you that she hasn't had this kind of voice all the time (maybe circa Shabondama time). Some fans will like her, some won't. Just different behaviors, appreciating or disliking music, that is, afterall, an art, and no one has the right to say what's good or bad about it.

Also, it would be spam if all the posters here would come only to say "omg Reina is so awesome I love her!!1". These are praise threads, but also a place to discuss.
