I have to admit, I kind of figured (not to mention was hoping) that Aichan would get the role of Ophelia. Definitely would love to see her interpretation of Ophelia's descent into insanity.

^ One thing I have always loved about Ai-chan is how well she expresses songs. Now I dunno if she was crying because it was a touching song or because it struck a chord with her IRL, but I do know she was totally choking up there at the end.

^If you really want to analyse it, the only song I actually recall her crying for was Yume Kara Samete, and then only once or twice (she was touched by the song, for sure

).

This though, brings to mind her previous solo performance of Suppin to Namida. While she didn't quite cry there, she was also obviously keeping a lid on her emotions. I wonder why it's this type of song that usually draws out the drama queen in her. Is she simply over-invested in the performance or is there something more to it? Hard to tell, but I suspect she does know about heartbreak, which means that she probably has loved someone before (she's definitely old enough to have experienced it at least once or twice, though in her case it just has to be hidden...). As a fanfic writer this interests me of course, and I have the stirrings of a one shot in my mind, but really...

Emo!Ai is such an overused trope (that I created!

) but evidence continues to pile up that I'm right.

Still, it does give her performances a certain depth.

That's why I love her so much.

Awhh, I'm a little dissapointed she's dyed her hair again already- it was nice while it lasted! I hope she's got some more photos stored up of the very blonde Blondai~ I would say I hope they've knocked out a photobook while it was like that but we haven't really seen any signs of a mystery project or trip abroad, right?

I normally don't have problems with Yesasia but my photobook order's shipping date has been delayed until the 9th of June... >___< well, maybe they'll ship it earlier... I think it's because they need to send the new stock to Germany and then send it to me in the UK as my last few orders have been shipped from there for some reason. It's very annoying... I was looking forward to having Aibutt as a mid-exam period reward!
