Lover’s Lullaby

It seems like lately the General Manager of the whole 48 group is having a problem.

“Hey, NyanNyan, what is wrong with Takamina?”

“She looks…troubled…pale and tired.” Yuko asks Kojiharu as they were taking a break from the intense practice.

“Maybe she was just tired…you know…practice, work, event and all.” Kojiharu said as she let Yuko hugging and smelling her hair.

“Yeah…but…*sigh* I will talk to her later.” Yuko said as they continue their practice for the new single.

Takamina has finish changing her clothes as she has another event to go.

Then Yuko entered the changing room and walking towards the midget.

“Hey” Yuko greeted her as she stands beside the other girl whose busy packing her things.

“Hmmm…” Takamina only hummed not looking at Yuko.

“Are you okay?” Yuko asks full of concern.

Takamina looks at her with a questioning looks.
“Yeah. Why?” She answered.

Yuko looks at her observing the younger girl.

She’s absolutely lying.

Obviously her eye bags are getting bigger and darker than usual.

Even the way she talks doesn’t sound like the usual Takamina.

Usually even if she was tired, she would greet them with full of energy.
But now, the person beside her is different.

“No you’re not okay.” Yuko said stopping her from walking away.

“Yuko, I’m okay. I’m just tired from the work it’s all. I have to go now.”
Takamina is definitely trying to get away from Yuko.

Takamina was about to go again but this time Yuko held her hand tight.

“Takamina, you’re going to make all of us worried if you keep being like this.” Yuko this time being more serious.

Takamina sigh.

She drops her bag and sits on the chair lazily.
Yuko take a chair and sit beside her.

“What’s wrong?” Yuko asks concern about her friend.
Takamina massage the bridge of her nose.

“I’m just tired and all.” Takamina said to convince Yuko that she is really fine.

“Did you get enough sleep?” Yuko crossed her arms.

“Y-yea…don’t worry I’m taking care of myself, Yuko. Maybe I was just thinking too much.”
 Takamina smiles said then stand up and pick up her bags and was about to walk out of the room when Yuko suddenly said the reason why she is like this.

“You miss Acchan are not you?” Yuko said calmly still on her position.

Takamina stop her tracks when she heard the name.

She chuckle weakly and smile at herself without looking back at Yuko.

Yuko sigh as she looks at Takamina’s back as she walks out of the room.

“I will report you to Acchan after this Takamina…just wait.”

Takamina had just come back home from work.

Tiredly she walks inside her apartment.

She feed her pet then walk inside her bedroom.

She quickly laid herself on the bed without changing her clothes.

Too lazy to change herself.

Then her phone rang.

‘It’s Atsuko…’ thought her as she saw the name on the phone screen.

“Hello Atsuko!” She said with an exciting voice.
She knows Yuko must have told the taller girl about her.

“Hey, how are you?” The taller girl asks her.
“I’m fine! I was just getting home. How about you?” Takamina said without changing her voice.

“I’m fine too. Hey, I heard from Y-“
“I’m okay Atsuko. I…just…miss you. “Mumbled Takamina finally confessed what had been troubling her lately.

“Atsuko? Are you still there?” Takamina said weakly.
Then she heard a sob from the other girl.

“Atsuko…are you crying?” Takamina knows that her girlfriend is getting worried about her again.

“Atsuko…I’m okay.” She said worried.

“Are you?” Atsuko sob as she doesn’t fall into Takamina’s words.

“I…I…sorry.” Takamina who still lying on her bed turning around as her front is now facing the bed.

“What can I do for you?” Atsuko asks her as she stops crying.

“What?” Takamina was confused.

“Tell me what can I do to make you feel better?” Atsuko explain.

“Hmm…I can’t sleep well lately.” Takamina said giving a hint to the other girl.

Atsuko, being her girlfriend for almost more than a year quickly catch what does she means by that.

“Do you want me to come over?” Atsuko asks her.

“No…just…make me feel better now.” Takamina said tiredly.

“What song do you want?” Atsuko asks her again making the other one let out a small laugh.

“Whatever as long as it’s your voice, Atsuko.”

Takamina can imagine that Atsuko is blushing at her words just now.

Without anymore question, Atsuko started to sing to her girlfriend through the phone.

Takamina close her eyes slowly as the other girl lulled her to sleep.

The next day,
It seems like Takamina is getting better but still looks weak.

Takamina walks towards Yuko.

“Thanks.” Takamina pat her back then walks away.

Yuko knew it’s not enough for the general manager.

After the practice, Yuko quickly call the former ace of AKB48.

“Acchan!”
“Yuko! Whats up?” It seems that Atsuko is probably having a break as she answered her call fast.
“Did you talk to your midget already?” Yuko asks her.

“Yea…she’s fine right?” Atsuko said.

“Yeah I know she’s fine now but I think it’s not enough!” Yuko said “W-WHAT??” Atsuko was clueless.

“I mean…YOU SHOULD GIVE YOUR BODY TO HER!!!”
Yuko said as her other hand touching her own body.
Luckily there’s no one in there.
But yeah even if someone saw her they would not care since…Yuko is Yuko~.

“Yuko! She’s tired! Are you stupid? She will get more tired If I do that to her!” Acchan said raising her voice.

“Do what?” Yuko tease her grinning.

“D-do t-that!!” Acchan was stuttering as her face is reddening.

Only Yuko did not see her face as they were talking on the phone.

“hehe Okay~ I have to go now and…Takamina is free tonight!”
Yuko said smirking then hang up without waiting for her answer.

That day the general manager finishes her work early.

When she arrived at her apartment, she was greeted by her cat as they were asking for food.

After feeding the cat, Takamina took a shower since she still have energy left.

She washes the dishes on the sink.

Then she fell on the bed as she was getting tired.

 She trying to close her eyes to sleep but her eyes opened again staring at the white ceiling.

“I can’t sleep…” mumbled Takamina to herself.

Then the bell rang.

Takamina walks out of the room to the front door and open it.

“Atsuko!” she was shocked and happy to see her girlfriend coming to see her.

Atsuko stare at her sadly.

‘Yuko was right…you looks really tired Minami.’ Thought Atsuko.

“I thought you were busy.” Takamina said as she accepted the hug from Atsuko.

“I ask them to finish early.” Atsuko said then walk inside the room.

She looks at her girlfriend’s face as she misses them.

“Are you getting ready to sleep?” Atsuko asks her seeing her girlfriend already in her pajama.

Takamina nodded.

Atsuko then push Takamina to her bed and she joins her to lie beside her.

Takamina just let her do anything she wants.

Currently they both lay on the bed side by side.

Without any talk, just holding each other’s hand.





“I want to sleep.” Takamina finally break the silence.

“Then sleep, I will be here.” Atsuko hold her hand tighter.

Takamina then turn her head towards Atsuko as Atsuko do the same.

“Lullaby~~~” Takamina pout cutely at her girlfriend.

She's so cute when she wants something from the younger girl.

Atsuko smile sweetly at her but inside she feels like crying seeing her tired face.

“You can listen to my songs on your phone if you can’t sleep.” Atsuko said looking deeply in her eyes
as she caressed her hair softly.

“I want to hear your live voice.” Takamina said as she slowly close her eyes.

Knowing that the other girl is getting tired, she wrapped her arms around her and singing her a lullaby.

Atsuko kissed her forehead as Takamina also wrapped her arms on Atsuko’s waist.

While singing Migikata, Atsuko hugging her midget as her head is buried under Atsuko’s neck.

After Takamina sleep soundly, she slowly make her sleep comfortably beside her.

Looking at her sleeping calmly, Atsuko gives a peck on her lips.

“I love you, Minami.”

Then Atsuko fall asleep as she also tired.

And I forgot what to say so...
here it is...
maybe, when you see the title...ohh... hummm..okay~ but I took the title from the song that I've been listening again and again when I wrote this~

When Love Stops

“Minami!! Come here!” Shouted Acchan as she stands in front of the big tree doing something on it.
The short girl walked toward her friend confusedly watching her action. “What are you doing Acchan?”Asked Takamina as she raising her eyebrow.

The tall girl finished doing what she was doing before she turned to look at Takamina.
She step back several times to gives way for the other girl to look at what she was doing.
Takamina chuckled reading at what her friend writes on the surface of the tree.

‘Atsuko + Minami = AtsuMina~’

Then she took out something sharp from her bag and started adding something at the end of the sentence.
Meanwhile Acchan was looking at her as she giggling seeing every single alphabet the other girl writes.

‘forever~ ♥’

Acchan suddenly remembered something so she looked at her wristwatch. Acchan gasped.
“Minami!! We’re late!” Her eyes widen in panic.
Minami had just finished making her arts on the tree as she looked at the panic girl.
“Huh?!” Still not comprehend what the other girl means, Minami gives her a confused look.
“Bakamina! We’re late for school!” Acchan quickly grabbed Minami’s hand and dragged her along running towards their school.

Acchan was waiting for Takamina at the school gate when a bunch of girls walking towards her with a smirk on their face.
Acchan started to feel nervous.
“Oh God…It’s them…Minami…”
Acchan look inside the school hoping to see Minami’s figure coming out of it.

“Oi! Maeda~” One of them calling her by her family name. They started to surround her while looking at her intensely making Acchan looking down feeling afraid.

Inside, Acchan was praying for Minami to appear and save her.
“Give me your bag.” The one at her front said as she held out her hand waiting for Acchan to gives her bag.

Acchan was hesitating. “Oi~ we’re using soft way for you now. Don’t let us use harsh way!” The other one said with a rude tone.

Acchan slowly took off her bag from her back and was about to give it to them when a voice startled them all.

“I give you one second to run away before I put your name in school record!” Turning their head to the owner of the voice, they quickly run away leaving Acchan and her alone.

Minami glared at them as she watched them running away.

“Minami!” Acchan quickly hugged her savior tightly. “Are you okay?” Acchan nodded.
She was glad that the shorter girl appeared at the right time or else she’d already become a victim of the bully.

“Seriously Minami, one second?” Acchan chuckled as she parted from the hug.
Everyone in the school knew not to mess with the midget because she is the school president, and they really respect her.

Minami laughed. “Because 3 seconds are too mainstream~” joked her while gently taking Acchan’s hand and started to walk home.

Acchan just smile at her gentle’s action.

“Next time, don’t wait for me outside the gate, stay with me inside the school. Understand?”

“Un~” Acchan nodded as she pouted cutely at her friend.

She’s always like that towards the taller girl. Gentle, kind, caring, loving, even though sometimes she’s annoying with her fail jokes, acting cutely when she wants something.

“Minami, why don’t we build a tree house here?” Acchan suggested as they arrived at the big tree.
Since then, the two always spending their free time scratching on the tree.

~Flashback~
“Eh?! Acchan! You meanie!” Whined Takamina as she saw what Acchan had wrote on the tree with a fork that she took from home. [LOL]

‘Minami is midget’

Acchan was satisfied with her work of art as she grinned widely.
While the other girl pouted and quickly thinking of taking revenge as she took out a screwdriver from her bag that she secretly took from her father’s store. [LOL]

Acchan was busy making another of her artwork when she hears the other girl laughing.
She diverted her eyes towards the other girl and then turned her eyes to what her best friend’s work.

‘Acchan is crybaby~’

“That was lame, Minami.” Acchan said.

Then she dragged Minami around the tree and showed her what she wrote before.

“Minami is crybaby~ Ehh? You copied me!” Minami said as she pointed the screwdriver towards Acchan.
“No! I wrote it 2 days ago!” Acchan stick her tongue out at Minami playfully.

“I did not noticed it~” Minami just shrugged her shoulders. They both then continued back writing all their thought about each other. The good and the bad about each other.

“Hummm…” Minami lean her index finger to her chin looking up at the big tree.
“See? You can ask your father to build it for us~”Minami looks at Acchan who looks like she was really eager for it.
“I will ask my father about it first.” Minami was also agreed to her suggestion.

“Woahh~~” The two girl were impressed seeing the beautiful tree house in front of them.

Since Minami’s house is near the big tree so it was easier for her father to finished building it in a short time.
Glad that his father did not ruin any of their artwork on the tree.

Acchan was still with mouth half open looking at the tree house when she suddenly saw Takamina inside it already as she opened the small window.

“Acchan~ come in!” Takamina waves excitedly at her as she laughing lightly seeing Acchan’s shocked expression when she saw Takamina in the tree house.

“It’s really nice, Takamina~” Acchan was still admiring Takamina’s father’s works.
“Don’t forget to thanks my father for this~ hehe~”


“Of course!” Acchan still looking around inside the tree house. It was like a room, with the tree at the centre of the room.

The tree house has been their hanging out place since then. The tree was full of their artworks.
So they call the tree house, AtsuMina house~ with an ‘AtsuMina’ sign hanging in front of the house.

One day, Acchan did not go to school because she’s having fever.

After school, Takamina was about to visit Acchan after she finished cleaning the tree house.

Someone quietly climbing the stairs to the tree house.

When she makes sure that their small house is neat and clean. She quickly turned around and about to climb
down the stair when-“Aaaarrrrggghhh!!” Minami falls backward as she was surprised to see someone suddenly appear from behind the tree.

Acchan laugh weakly at her reaction.
“Mou~ Acchan don’t scared me like that!” Minami stood up as she pouted. But her pouted change into a frown.

“Aren’t you sick?” She started to feels worried.
Acchan just ignored the shorter girl and walk towards the small bed and laid her weak body on it and close her eyes.

Minami is getting more worried. She walks towards the girl and slowly put her hand on her forehead.
“You’re still hot.” Acchan just close her eyes when she feels the warm hand on her forehead.

“Let me bring you home.” Minami hold her hands.
Acchan slightly shook her head. “No~ I want to stay here~”

‘Geez~ this girl is always stubborn’ thought Minami. She knows the taller girl will not listen to her.
“Wait a minute.” Minami quickly run down the stairs. Acchan opened her eyes seeing Minami already gone. “Minami~” mumbled Acchan as she feels cold.

After a while, Minami comes back with a blanket.
She covered Acchan with blanket and then she sit beside her.

“Have you eats medicine?” Asked Takamina. Acchan nodded. She already ate her medicine before she goes out from her house to see her midget.

“Hug me~” She can hears Acchan’s voice trembling.
Minami just obeyed her as she lied beside Acchan and wrapped her arms around her.

Acchan snuggled up closer to Minami’s neck making Minami stiffened up.

Both knew their hearts are beating so fast at the time.


After a long while, Acchan falls asleep in her arms. Minami look down to see her sleeping face.

Without she realized, she was staring at the sleeping figure beside her.

Her hair falling on her faces covering her sleeping face.
Minami slowly , and gently swiped the girl’s hair to the side to see the cute sleeping face without waking her up.


When the wide ocean dries up
When the sun loses its light
Maybe that’s when this love will stop


Minami’s face is getting closer to her face as her eyes keeps looking at the pale pink lips.

When their lips are an inch closer, Minami stopped.

She smiles lovingly, and changing her direction. She kissed her hot forehead instead, gently.
 


When the first snow falls for the thousandth time
When the stars fall like rain
Perhaps that’s when you’ll know my heart that goes only toward you
You’re special person that I long for the point that it hurts
I don’t know the words of separation
Even if my life ends and I’m born again



“Acchan wait! Please listen to me!” Minami run after Acchan who was crying trying to run away from her.

“Just leave me alone! You’re going to leave me alone anyway!”
Her tears keep falling down on her cheeks as she run from the shorter girl.

“Acchan I’m not going to leave you forever~ I will come back…for you.”
Minami managed to hold her arms as she also started to cry seeing her loved one cries.

‘I’m afraid you will not Minami…’

Acchan harshly get Minami’s hand off her as she leaves Minami alone.


It’s been a few days, Acchan has been avoiding Minami.
Since the day she found out that Minami is going to further her study abroad and she will be living with her uncle.

Minami was trying to talk to her. She even goes to Acchan’s house, but Acchan locked her door.

So Minami decided to write a note and asked for Acchan’s mother to give it to her.

‘Atsuko, I’m sorry okay…
Please, I want to talk to you…for the last time.
I miss you Acchan…I really miss you…
Meet me at our AtsuMina house, at 4 pm today.
Please, I will be leaving tomorrow morning.’

Minami patiently waiting for Acchan outside their tree house.

She’s smiling while holding her tears watching at all their artworks around the tree.

She’s walking slowly around the tree and reading again every of the words on the three.

Until she saw a figure standing in front of her stopping her from walking around the tree.

Minami looks up to see the most beautiful God’s creature ever that she really loves other than Katsudon.

The taller girl burst into tears as she quickly pulled the shorter girl for a hug.

The other also started to cry loudly. They hug each other tightly.

There’s no words needed.

Even if I add on every word in the world to the words, I love you
It’s not enough for me, that’s my heart

“Minami promised me, you will come back to me.” Acchan’s voice cracked when she spoke.

Minami hold both her hands tightly and looking at the other girl as she nodded.

“I promise. I…-“She did not continued as she remembered something. Minami took out something from her pocket.

“Here, I want you to keep one of this...” Minami said as she gives one bracelet to Acchan while the other one she put in on her own wrist.
There is letter M and A on the bracelet.

“M for Minami, A for Atsuko~” Explained Minami while Acchan put the bracelet on her wrist and looking at it.

“Aren’t it stands for Maeda Atsuko?” Joked Acchan. It was probably the last joke she will hear from the younger girl. They laughed.
Acchan stopped laughing and leaning her head on Minami’s shoulder while holding her hand.


When you leaned against my shoulder
And softly held my hand – that’s when I knew
That this love cannot stop


Acchan decided to send Minami to the airport. She wants to see her for the last time before she left.
They were holding each other’s hand all the time.

“Acchan, before I leave, I want you to take care of our AtsuMina house, understand?” Acchan nodded still holding her tears.
“And one more thing…” Minami took a deep breath before she continue,

“I had left something for you at our house. But you need to find it~” Minami said to her playfully making Acchan pouted as a single tear finally falling down on her cheek.

Minami wipe the tears with her thumb. “I love you~”


When at some point, you leave

After coming back from the airport, Acchan went straight to the tree house.
She climbs up and started to search for the thing that Minami had left for her.

“Where is it~” mumbled Acchan as she search through every places.

She sat on the small bed, sighing as she had been searching on every part of the house.

Suddenly she feels like she needs to look up somehow, so she looks up at the ceiling.

Almost every part of the ceiling is being covered by a heart shaped balloons.

I was really happy seeing them being sooo cute with each other. Minami should have stolen that kiss though X3 or kiss Atsuko when she's leaving abroad.
