Introducing Little Queen. The number one thing that jumped out about Little Queen when I first saw her perform was her sense of fashion.  Like most of the reggae dancers from Nippon she designs her own costumes along with her partner.  Furthermore, she really lights up during interviews, and has a very infectious small.  Dance skills wise, she's fairly average, but her fashion and her personality behind the mic make her very unique.  I don't know much about her background, but her partner did recently enter into the international dance competition in Jamaica last year.  I'm hoping Little Queen considers entering next year.:w00t:

Introducing Erina.  She use to put part of a group, but nowadays she is doing her thing solo.  She gives very energetic performances on stage, and makes trips to Jamaica to keep up with the latest dance steps.  To say she was popular during her last trip to Jamaica would be an understatement .  Last year Erina entered in the largest Dancehall tournament in Japan made her way to the finals.

Introducing Satono.  She is one of the more influential dancers in Japan.  Her, along with her almost legendary
partner, have inspired many other women in Japan to get into reggae dancing.  She is one of the more skilled dancers in the scene.  But, she sort of reminds me of Ken Shamrock in a way.  By that I mean, she always gets close to capturing the gold, but never quite makes it there for some reason.

Introducing Shinobu.  She is the dance partner to Nana.  Both of them make for a very good dance unit.  Between the two, I feel that Nana has the more unique swagger between the two, but Shinobu is the slightly better dancer.  Unlike Nana, however, I can't recall Shinobu entering into any major reggae dance competitions solo.  Shinobu has been dancing since she was 14, and her skills have become very sharp as a result.

For those who haven't, don't forget to vote in the 2 latest polls.  Only a few days left before the polls are closed.  Both polls are very :jerk: worthy  :yep:

Sup diagong.  Unfortunately, no that's not the Minami I posted caps of in this thread.  In fact, that video is an erotic dance DVD, rather than a legit dancehall DVD.

Still, I appreciate the heads up.  To my knowledge, I own every DVD that Minami has appeared on (underground or otherwise) up to this point.  It's not that many unfortunately (4 so far, with a 5th to be released in the near future).

I do a lot of research on these dancers, so it's tough for their releases to slip past me without me knowing. I even got a few that you can't get anymore since they were discontinued because of DVD errors that got mixed in during their initial presses.

Anyway, now that the polling is over (it's a shame that so few voted in the 2nd leg poll in particular despite all the views, so there ended up being a 4 way tie :banghead:), I'll have another dancer up in this thread soon. O0

Introducing Junco. She is without question the most famous of any dancers I'll be posting on here.  She was the first non-Jamaican to capture the queen title back in 2002.  She was one of the first (albeit, not the very first), Japanese dancer I ever saw doing rockin' it dancehall style.  But, to cap it off, for the style she does (which is much different from dancers like Kiyo, Iriepampam, Lakusumi, etc), she is still the best at it in my opinion. Introducing Asami.  She is another one of my favorites who has not only made a name for herself as a dancer, but also has designed many outfits for other dancers to use.  Asami, along with her partner, have a very aggressive dancehall style.  Their performances are usually among the highlights of the dancing tours they take part in.  Another great aspect of Asami is her excellent physical conditioning she puts her body to.  Along with Erika she released a DVD to show other dancers how to keep their bodies in excellent physical condition.

Introducing Chisato.  She was once a part of a 3 woman dance group, which was one of the first Japanese dancehall dancer groups I've ever had the chance of seeing perform.  Since branching out solo Chisato has somewhat made a name for herself by competing in the international queen competition in Jamaica.  Her dancing style is generally sensual and "strength" oriented.  She has a really good dancing vibe, and it's unfortunate that video material of her is rather scarce (I've searched for years to find more of her, but as far as I can tell there are only 2 DVDs and 1 VHS release that features her performing).

Yep, I recognize Megu in that one clip.  She is the one with brown curly hair.  Too bad she has her lovely stems and booty covered up in those confining pants.  But still, some Megu is better than no Megu at all.   :yep:
