Here's something to satisfy the fangirls, seems like for every eye catching female in the game, there are just as many good looking males

In order it's Snow, and new guys Cid (hey, there's a Cid in the game afterall!

) and Rygdea. The latter reminds me very much of Basch from FFXII.

And the amount of comments I've read of, "Oh I'm not getting this anymore cause there's too many effeminate looking guys in the game" is seriously pathetic. FF's guys have always looked like that, and it's not even a FF thing, it's a Japan thing. So either put up with it or just don't play.

Wow. The bottom guy actually looks like a male. I think that's a first for Final Fantasy games in last decade.

I actually like these character designs. With the exception of the middle dude they all look like people you could out for a beer with in college.

But I want to wait and see, if the language of the vestern versions can be changed to japanese...
I hate english voices, doesn't matter if it is good or not...

It's been stripped out of the game sadly. Originally it was considered as an option, but they wanted the PS3 and 360 versions to be identical and the 360 didn't have space for two language tracks.

Very annoying.

It may be available later as downloadable content though.

(EDIT: Of course this excuse won't work on FF: Versus XIII...)

I hope, that we becomes the japanese language as download content... if not...

But I'm glad, that Versus XIII is only PS3 worldwide... Then I can change the language to japanese...

Well, those people have short memories for sure. Not only Basch, already mentioned, there's also Auron.

And we didn't even had to dig deep to find them, just the last two FFs.
And honestly, I don't care if they are complete heterosexuals or the ultra masculine guy, don't care if they look emo or look like Chuck Norris. All I want are good characters!

I still use Auron as my avatar on another forum.

I agree on good characters being key - fortunately FF hasn't ever really failed in that. Even the less popular FF games were less popular for other reasons.

The FFXIII soundtrack has been announced, a 4CD standard edition and a rather lovely looking 5CD special edition each 3990 yen and 5250 yen respectively

yeah really... Basche, and even Ject, and Auron both looked like men... x-2 men were rare but they did look manly... well sorta.

and the 7 and 8 guys looked like men.

pretty men in final fantasy games are standard.... usually the villan is all yaoi...

heros are usually less so.

NOTHING AND I MEAN NOTHING is stopping me from getting this game in march, I will try to buy it even in DEATH!

lucky Japan. I'm sure it won't be to bad i know what waiting along time is all about. I had to deal with that with Resident Evil 5.

They should have put it in for the PS3 and make the 360 users download it.
