Dont get me wrong. I'm happy for the girls and I know they sell.
Just that Egao Yes Nude and Kanashimi Twilight did pretty well debuting too.. but they didnt get no.1 because it was the week the Johnnies put out new singles too.. It was KinKi Kids and Arashi, if I remember correctly.
They hardly loose to other female singer/idols, do they?

@linlin, no one in japan can beat a johnny's new release, its not just MM's problem so lets not even go there, they're on the decline as well. MM's rising again.

Being a H!P & JE fan, i must say you're right. Just check the past Top 100 singles of the year and almost all of them were Johnny's, especially in the Top 10. We all know that H!P doesn't sell very nice in music but yes in merchandise, photobooks and etc. So yeah, we are glad Momusu is selling very nice on their first day!

(lol is really hard to be a H!P & JE fan, especially in moments like this~)

OMG this is so great!

MM has staying power, we have been shown that for the last couple years, and it's fun pwning haters, specially this year

And that 12000 number is an index number, so to get the actual sales you have to multiply for 1.75, which is close to 22000 sales for the first day, it's less than KT first day sales, but remember that KT dropped dramatically (it had most of its sales the first days cause of the handshake event, and it was yossie's last single). I'm almost positive that onna ni sachi are will have steady sales, I'm not sure if it'll surpass KT's sales, but I damn hope so.

I also hope MM has #1 spot for the week, but that may be a bit harder, since Ai Otsuka has more casual fans. But something that could help MM is that Otsuka's Peach, sucks ass

(and I mean it, I can't seem to like it, not one bit...)
