With about 23K copies sold the PV DVD came in third place in the Oricon DVD Music weekly ranking in Japan. In the overall DVD chart it was 4th.

BIGLOBE MUSIC portal recently held a survey asking people to name what Korean group grabbed their attention. (BIGLOBE is one of the leading internet service providers in Japan.)
More than 30.000 people responded and they overwhelmingly picked SNSD as their favorite. Especially girls in their 10s and 20s left positive comments about their songs and dance. Also their looks and style where mentioned often.

About the survey, when was it held? Isn't it a bit odd that Big Bang did so poorly taking into account that they have debuted and become somewhat popular over there?

Did any of you buy the Limited Edition of the "New Beginning of Girls' Generation" DVD? If so, and you aren't going to the concert, would you mind donating your access key? WOW! That Kpop group rank really surprises me considering how well KARA did last week. If they managed to sell almost 30k and break the top 5 with only 0.9% popularity, what the bejeebus are SNSD going to do

... and Wonder Girls? I've only heard them mentioned once before in regards to Japan, and that was when Reina and Aichan were dancing it (and Reina got the words wrong lol)
