I love the idea of sub units. Allows those with really good singing voices to reach out and see their potential . If not they could slowly build resentment which could possibly lead to break up in the future

TBH, I don't understand people who jump with joy when the girls get solo gigs but act like it's the end of the group with this subunit rumour. It's pretty much the same thing to me $:-\$ . If anything this subunit thing will be more SNSD than solo jobs. Do you know that in lots of news articles about their dramas, they don't call Yuri and Sooyoung "SNSD Yuri" and "SNSD Sooyoung" but "Kwon Yuri" and "Choi Sooyoung"? No one freaked out about that

People are dramatic news at 11 (and kpop fans crank it up to 11) Sub groups are nothing to get freaked out about. My vents are because I'm pretty sure it'll be a phone in and sung by all the girls that already get a lot of lines. Although dance music? Not sure what I would think of that.

Now if its something that can generate some intrigue and extend the reach of the group like say... if it were in the style of Taeyeon's Devil's Cry or a Yuri-Yoona-Hyoyeon group doing a R&B song, hell yea, that would be worthwhile.
