To me, duty free = where you buy imported fags and boozes. I don't really know the importance.

SM Entertainment announces plans for Intel and SNSD partnership

Following the press report released yesterday, SM Entertainment has followed up with an official announcement regarding SNSD being the endorsement models for Intel Asia.

On January 10th, representatives of SM Entertainment revealed, “Starting from the 10th, SNSD and Intel will be starting a variety of campaigns for Asian consumers. Intel’s new product, the ‘Second Generation Intel Core Processor Family,’ will feature SNSD’s urban and impressive visuals to help market the product’s characteristics.”

SNSD will be joining Intel in marketing the product not only in Korea, but all over Asia as well. Consumers will be able see SNSD through new music, 2D and 3D music videos, internet sites, photos, and PC store displays. The music video produced by Intel and SNSD will be released on January 17th.

SNSD stated, “The music to be released is an easy-going track that anyone can follow along with. The music video will be very ‘SNSD’ in style. The music production with Intel was very fun. We even sang the famous Intel sound, ‘Bong!’, ourselves.”

Although SNSD recorded the sound logo for Intel, whether or not it will be used is still in discussion. Intel Korea’s Han In Su commented, “It is true that SNSD recorded the sound logo, but from a marketing standpoint, we’re still deciding whether to use it as a marketing tool, or insert it in actual advertisements.”

CEO Kim Young Min of SM Entertainment further commented, “We’re glad to be able to work with such an internationally known brand. We’re looking forward to presenting Asian fans with SNSD’s new music and music videos.”

Intel Korea’s Lee Hee Sung concluded, “Our consumer campaign for our second generation Intel Core product will feature SNSD’s cute and modern visuals. We’re introducing our products in a variety of fun and exciting ways for our consumers.”

SNSD and Intel’s new music video will be released on January 17th, followed by the song on the 18th at the Intel production conference.

Hopefully there will be some thought put into a good and attention grabbing aesthetic and not just another "roll SNSD out there and be done" type thing. >_>

Oh yeah, so I attended that LA fan meet on Saturday with T-back. Almost everyone had pink SSF shirts...then there was us two awesome oddballs repping with our black JPH!P SONE shirts with angryfaceman on the back. People who go into the meet were able to write a letter to SNSD on these pink papers. I wrote whatever I needed to write, mentioned something about the Butt Award (hoping that Yuri got it), declared my love for Jessica in the PS, and slapped my last JPH!P sticker on the back of it...right before they told us to fold them into paper airplanes lol. They collected all the letters and put them into a big box and said they'll all go directly to SNSD haha...

Does it matter what kind of underwear Yuri wears to bed? Probably for half a second before Jessica tears it off. :D

The freebies consisted of 2 letter-sized print outs of Oh! and Run Devil Run, and a print out of the Hoot album cover...

And since we were the first however many in line for the ticket with the "void" stamp, we got free popcorn and sodas (which we actually skipped to get and went in for better seating instead XD).

ITNW CONCERT ALBUM POSTER UP FOR TRADE

It's unopened(never unrolled, no folds) with slight travel damage to the outside edge. Will ship protected so it doesn't suffer any further damage, request that the trader do the same if trading a poster.

For the replacement poster, I'm looking for either RDR or Genie.

Just read the news about MBC's new Chuseok show. It's gonna be like a sports festival for idols again but, this time, they're gonna add swimming. Gosh, I hope SNSD will be included.

That would piss me off so much.

Taeyeon somehow always misse the good CFs. Is she still even doing a solution? It's been like 7-8 months since they've done anything and it's not like the campaign is anything big. Just stock pictures mostly.

Not to mention its odd for such a big name like Dior I mean, tbh that's a campaign without the two most popular members and probably 3 of the top 5.

Sounds like Yuri might finally have a chance to put her specialty to use.

MBC is like SNSD's godmother, so I'm sure they'd love to have the girls on any variety shows. Hopefully, they won't be too busy for this show.

About the contracts, Korean fans only mentioned that Biotherm contracts have expired. They think it'll be just 6 too.
I've been hating a-solution since way back with Tiffany as their model. I don't know what was the point of hiring her when they were gonna edit her pics so damn much that she no longer looked like SNSD's Tiffany anyway.

In Taeyeon's stuff I noticed they always seem to reuse outfits form other shoots.... so cheap....

I'm still hoping they can work around any conflicting contracts.

If they do I may be able to forgive those unforgivable photo edits.
