It's the same melody, but the key is lower starting than the original, but it goes back to the original, I think. It's a bit slower, too.

I heard it on Young Town earlier and thought it sounded the same as the original.  Tsunku's been smoking crack again.  I hope we still get Hustle as the c/w track.
Sig gone. Tinypic is no more.

Come on, wait 'till the PV comes out! Most of the girls will dance around a big pot where Koharu and Sayumi are being served as the main dish :P

And for the close-ups, they'll wear a small bone through their noses  And Yossi and Miki will play drums on Takahashi's head :P

Yeah, one can dream

The massive refusal that Koi wa Hassou received in 2ch was determinant for its placement as the c/w. Now UFA hits back pulling out a re-arranged album track. 2ch doesn't seem anger this time. As occidental people, we will often fail to understand Japan behaviour towards music. The new Chokkan, more disco-ish, is exactly what people was expecting. The point is, Chokkan already exists. How much can affect this on sales terms? I don't know. But even if the 90% of the people who owns the album decide not to buy this, Chokkan2 is catchy enough to draw attention of new fans.

well.....Chokkan 2 sounds a little better than the original, but it's still an OK song for me. not fantastic or anything, but just fine; the chorus is definitely the best part of the song since it's really jumpy and energetic.

the "souda! souda!" parts still sound like some kind of Tiki chant  :P

The Souda Souda part for some reason sounds alot like Kaijin from Music Fighter for some reason. I'm going crazy.

Doesn't really sound like there's an apparent change in arrangement. Although the pace of it kinda changed definitely. The voices of the girls are more at the front though, so it's a welcome change. And there's new girls in it! Yay.
