A 4ish minute mp3 of Chokkan 2 (thanks to marimari). After hearing this one, I like it much better than the 6th album version. Still can't hear any changes to the arrangement though. Sorry if this is old. I've been out of the loop for a while.

In slightly related news, Reina sounds pretty good. Miki and Takahashi too

――レコーディング終了直後、まさに新曲出来たてホヤホヤな状態なんだけど、その出来たての感想と解説を聞かせてもらえるかな？
【高橋】　一番新しいアルバムの『愛の第6感』にも入ってて、ライブでもやっている曲をリメイクしているんです。でもアルバムを出した時とはメンバー構成も違っているので（笑）。

――そうか、あの当時とは既にメンバーが違っているんだよね。
【小川】　そうなんです。あと、今回はシングルにするにあたって、シングル用に歌詞も書き換えてて。アルバムに入っている曲の方の歌詞は、女の人目線の歌詞なんですけど、今回はどちらかというと・・・サラリーマンの方というか・・・（笑）。

――なるほど、確かに「LOVEマシーン」の歌詞とかに近いような気もするよね。
【小川】　そうかもしれないです。応援ソングな感じなんで。

――ライブでは既に歌っているっていう事なんだけど、ズバリ歌いやすい？
【高橋】　歌いやすいっていうか、すごい好きです！すごく盛り上がるし、お客さんもノリやすいと思うし。もう、歌ってて気持ちいいんで！

――それは3人も同じ意見？
【小川】　気持ちいいっていうか、すごく楽しくなりますね！
【田中】　私は『愛の第6感』の中で一番好きな曲だったんですよ！だから、「直感」のNEWバージョンがシングルになるって聞いて、超嬉しかったですね！

――アルバムの中で一番好きだったっていうのは、やっぱりノリがいいからなのかな？
【田中】　自分はバラードよりこういう激しい曲の方が好きなんですよね。ライブとかでも・・・この曲を歌うとすごく頑張れるんですよね。

――じゃあ、バラードはそんな好きでもない？
【田中】　いや、嫌いではないんですけど・・・テレちゃうんですよね・・・（笑）。
【高橋】　かわいいね（笑）。
【田中】　この曲の方がノリノリで歌いやすいってことなんです（笑）。
【紺野】　私は頭に残るというか・・・歌詞もそうだし、“そうだ　そうだ　そうだ”っていうのがずっと頭に回っていますね（笑）。

――ちょっと呪文に近いもんがあるよね（笑）。
【紺野】　そうかもしれないです（笑）。ライブで聴いた事がない人・・・テレビで初めてこの曲を聴いたり観たりすると、「なんじゃこりゃ!?」って思うかもしれないんですけど（笑）、きっと頭には残ってくれると思うんですよ。

――年末の忘年会シーズンに向けてもバッチリな感じだしね。
【小川】　みんなで歌ったら絶対に盛り上がりますよ！

――サラリーマンが頭にネクタイ締めて“そうだ！そうだ！そうだ！”ってやってるのが浮かぶしね（笑）。
【高橋】　それ、絶対にやって欲しいです！（笑）



――新メンバーの小春ちゃんが入って2枚目のシングルになるけど、チームワークや雰囲気はどんな感じになった？
【小川】　凄くいい雰囲気だと思いますよぉ！その時々のリーダーによって、モーニングっていうのは雰囲気が違うんですよ。

――あ、そんなにハッキリと雰囲気の違いがわかるもんなんだ？
【紺野】　そのリーダーの色に染まるんです（笑）。

――今はズバリ、吉澤色に染まっていると（笑）。
【小川】　だから、今は体育会系ですよ！（笑）

――それまた、凄くわかりやすいなぁ（笑）。
【高橋】　私たちは飯田さんの時からですけど、飯田さんも吉澤さんも全然違うし。たぶん中澤さんとも違うと思うし。

――じゃあ、今はモーニング娘。史上初の体育会系になったと（笑）。
【小川】　なりましたね（笑）。
【紺野】　飯田さんの時は、コンサートの楽屋でバラの香水をまいたりしてくれたんですよ（笑）。

――それまた実にわかりやすい例えだなぁ（笑）。
【田中】　今は部活みたいな感じですよね（笑）。

――部活かよっ!?（笑）
【小川】　ホント、部活です（笑）。
【高橋】　いまはフットサルもやっているんで尚更ですね（笑）。

――今回のシングルと前回のシングルの時では、4人から見て小春ちゃんは成長はしたな！って思う？
【小川】　最近、踊りを覚えるのが早くなったなぁって思いますね。
【紺野】　頭がいい子なんで、覚えるのは早いと思いますよ！
【小川＆高橋＆田中】　羨ましい！（笑）
【紺野】　やっぱり若いからなのかなぁ？？

――いや、4人も全然若いから！（笑）　では、そろそろタイムリミットなんで…最後に、このシングルのオススメポイントを4人それぞれ聞かせてもらえるかな？
【高橋】　色んな人にカラオケで盛り上がってもらいたいなって思いますね。“これぞ、モーニング娘。だ！”っていう風に思ってくれたら凄く嬉しい。
【田中】　頑張っている人に向けての応援ソングだと思うので、この曲を聴いて“明日も頑張るぞ！”って思ってもらいたいです！
【小川】　とにかく、一度聴いたら忘れない凄くインパクトのある曲なんで（笑）、聴いた人の頭に残ってもらえたら嬉しいです。
【紺野】　年末なんで、忙しかったりちょっと凹んでいる人たちも、“この曲、なんだか面白いな？”っていうのでもいいので、この曲に触れて元気になってもらえたら嬉しいです！

no surprise Takahashi, Fujimoto and Tanaka took leading roles again in a new single. Tsunku's really pushing these girls forward, but it's a great move since they're awesome singers/dancers. I just wish he'd give more chances to the other girls; like Ogawa, Niigaki and Kamei. these girls hardly had any leading roles in singles, compared to the rest.

I'm glad he's giving Koharu a lead in this song, actually. although she hasn't fully developed her talent/s yet, she needs a confidence boost to do so, and giving her a lead will most likely help her. letting her just be a "back-up singer" a lot of the time, or always having shared lines is hardly gonna help, and probably won't motivate her to work as best as she can.

I don't think Fujimoto and TAkahashi are leads. The first set of voices are Tanaka, Kamei, Kusumi and Sayu... Fujitaka are in the second set, which most likely won't appear in live shows. They might still be dance leads, but IMO this song is primarily led by the youngsters.

Here's a thought about the outfits that they're shown wearing for the H!M preview and the cover.  I assume they were originally supposed to be for the Koi wa Hassou song and now they're just using them for Chokkan 2.  Why waste an outfit that's been made is what I'm thinking.  I'm not sure how appropriate the outfit is for each song, maybe it works for both..

So apparently Koi wa hassou was replaced because one of the words in the lyrics was copyrighted/licensed. Guguu~

I have to admit, the more I listen to this damn song, the catchier it gets and that makes me insane enough to buy it...well, already did, actually.

Koharu did really well in her solo line, and sounded better than Sayumi to some extent. she also sounded good with Takahashi!
