Apparently her last name is also sometimes spelled as Yamazaki (with a "Z" - I noticed some pics of her in one of Happosai's Sabra posts).

Recently she was appeared as a villian in the newest Super Sentai series - Boukenger. Hmm...I haven't watch that series yet. I wonder how is her acting looks like..

Man, I almost forgot about this. GoGo Sentai Boukenger is already up to the 10th episode (come to think of it, I haven't actually watched it yet, even though I DL'ed it last week :p) Anyway, Mami plays Kaze no Shizuka. She's a member of the Dark Shadow Ninja Clan (one of three "villian groups" in this series). She makes her debut in the third episode (entitled "Tasks") of the show. Of course, being a Super Sentai show, she usually wears a goofy-looking costume.

One thing is for sure, she makes a really cute villain.

Task 9 - Folded Crane Ninja (Huh?......EHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!)

VIDEO CLIP - Here, Shizuka's just cute. I cut out the opening credits. Shizuka tries to pass herself off as a member of SGS (Sargesse) to try and get an item before the Boukengers can get it. Watch Shizuka in the last 30 seconds as she argues with the Boukengers in the background while Red boy talks with the old lady.
