I'd prefer a not live version. Those rips always lie about how does the actual song sounds.
What I can say so far is that it is upbeat, but doesn't stand out too much.

That's what I had at first, but when I had Yurina and Maasa as those lines in the other choruses, I didn't know... It actually doesn't sound like any of them, imo

I'll change it when I find other recordings, etc~

I like the song. I do not care for line distribution. If I did not like the song I might care, but I don't. I particularly like the arrangement. I even can forgive the overused 'wowow's and 'yayyay's. That's my opinion anyway

I was thinking the same thing with the white costumes, maybe more R&Bish and such with a calmer beat, like 7Air and some Minimoni songs.

Yay! I was somewhat indifferent to the song after the concert rip (again... I really have to stop downloading those), but being able to actually hear the music in this I quite like it. ^_^ It almost seems like a summery song... which is odd going on winter here, but eh, maybe I just have an odd impression. It's nice and happy. ^^ I could almost imagine a picture like the Mikan cover to publicize it. I'm kind of surprised people are unhappy with line distribution. For one thing, there's actually less Risako than usual... It makes me wonder if you people will ever be happy.

(doubt it)

Anyway, so I like this song, though I don't think I'd put it on par with MunaSuka and some others maybe. But still, looking forward to the PV and it coming out. ^_^

And, seems the kanji on wiki.theppn.org was WRONG!
It's
付き合ってるのに片思い and NOT 付き合っているのに片思い. Meaning the name IS Tsukiatteru no ni Kataomoi.

^ in speach the 'i' of 'iru' is often dropped if it comes after the -te form of a verb. Iru is an auxillary verb for continuing action or state. In Morning Musume's Aruiteru this also happens ([We] are walking).

The Berryz' single title translates as follows (word between square brackets are implied):
Tsukiatteru / [We] are dating
no ni / although (particle, comes after the word(s) it applies to)
Kataomoi / [it is] unrequited love

One way to write is "Unrequited love, although we are dating". The subject (it) and verb (is) are missing but can be implied to give "Although we are dating, it is Unrequited Love".
