Somehow, I think it's that they just coincidentally have the same last name. If he really was/is her father, then he would have gotten her signed to Avex all these years instead of being in H!P.

I'm going to say that it's a good chance she will because she's staying with UFA, but you never really know. Then again, on the other hand, if she wants to move away from her H!P/Idol image into something different, you never know. We may never hear her sing Some Boys! again!

I'll be REALLY upset if she doesn't. She has so many good ones that can not just be stuck in a vault.

Even after a while of knowing the news it doesn't make it any better

What a year for me to discover H!P

Its all so confusing still and I just wish she got a full on emotion packed proper graduation with the other members (who are sure to miss her) that we all got to see... I'm hoping she takes a break for now, after working so hard, and doesn't sign with anyone till after the 08 Winter concerts and crossing my fingers she is still with UFA then and a miracle happens and she gets a nice little farewell at the H!P concert (similar to Konkon's appearance for Muina and Asami this year).

Even though i haven't been a fan for all that long, nor have i known of her for too long, i will support her no matter where she goes.

Well I alwasy thought he was, and from what I've read on the net he was too, but I could be mistaken!

I'm listening to the concert rip right now. It's so sudden, and so shocking...
I mean, she will still be in the celebrity world, but still, having her not part of H!P anymore is going to be strange.

I would have been crying so hard if I were there, the moment is just so full of drama and serious.

Helloproject has very limited resources, and they neglect people and focus on certain projects.

I wouldn't be suprised if her brother was acting as a crowbar to break her free from her
helloproject contract.

Basically embarrass them until they release her.

I'm willing to bet that Hello! Project, specifically Tsunku, has ownership of all of her songs since he came up with and produced them. And if she wants to take her music in a new direction then she might not be too interested in singing her old songs. But what the hell do I know, eh? Only time will tell

As of now, she will be. But no one knows if she'll stay permanently.
