Sorry to change the current topic, but I was wondering if I could get some help from my fellow Yuko fans.  I've only been an AKB fan for about 3 years and a Yuko fan for about 2.5 years.  I've missed quite a lot of Yuko stuff and I suppose what I wonder about most is her drama appearances.  I've seen the most recent ones and I really liked 'Reinoryokusha Odagiri Kyoko no Uso'.  I was wondering, before I try tracking down all her past drama's, which ones would you guys recommend to a Yuko fan?  I prefer stuff thats fun with a comedy element so if anyone could make a reccomendation where I might start it'd be greatly appreciated :)

First of all, welcome to JPH!P! :welcome

Regarding Yuko's drama appearances, I haven't seen much besides Reinoryokusha Odagiri Kyoko no Uso and Majisuka Gakuen so I'm not really the right person to answer. Have you seen Shiori to Shimiko no Kaiki Jikenbo? That series is pretty funny and weird. Yuko appeared in episodes 12 & 13 but unfortunately I don't really remember her scenes. Anyways Yuko is such a good actress that I suppose any drama or movie starring her is worth checking out :)

^Thank you :)

I haven't seen that drama so I'll have to check it out.  I appreciate the recommendation :)

And yeah, you make a good point, anything with Yuko in is worth a watch as she definitely adds something special to whatever she's doing.  Well, she can't really go wrong in my eyes anyway :D

Yuko is so talented that I don't think there's anything she can't do. Truly a one in a million idol!

Yuko's acting in Majisuka Gakuen was frickin' amazing and even her fight scenes were awesome:

One of the very few MG fight scenes where you can actually see the moves clearly :P

^Ah, I have a confession to make... I haven't really watched much of Majisuka Gakuen :nervous  Back when it first started, and I didn't really know many of the AKB girls, for some reason it never appealed to me (Don't ask why).  Of course recently I have been kicking myself trying to figure out why I didn't watch it.  More than anything just because I'm missing out on the Yuko Badassitude.

I'm trying to watch from the beginning of series 1 right now.  As much as I love Yuko being a good girl, I do also love it when she plays a bad girl :D

^I actually took your advice and started watching the first season of Majisuka Gakuen since I found the subbed version.  I hope I don't offend anyone but I though the story was kinda crappy :nervous  But it is cool seeing the girls acting and although Yuko hasn't done much yet (up to ep 6 now), I do like her character.  Doesn't seem like it was too much of a challenging role for her so far as she's kinda just being her own hypercrazy awesome self but I'm guessing things will change now that it seems she is finally at the school with the others.  And I also totally didn't get why she was at the hospital although I figure perhaps it's not supposed to be obvious just yet.

I think I'll stick to watching the series only because I'm enjoying seeing my favourites like Yuko, Acchan and Mayuyu playing bad girls but I wish the story was a bit better.

I'm hopeful that her new drama will be better written than Majisuka Gakuen.
