^The details tend to vary for each election, so you'll have to wait about 9 months to get the proper information.

However, the main deal is that you buy AKB48's single containing the election ticket (which usually releases around May). The ticket will have a code that you can enter in a certain website. You select the girl you want to vote for, enter the code and press ok. That's pretty much it.

Thumbs is short for Thumbnail image- which means just a small size, something like a passport photo...

It's not a matter of narrowing, but a thumb-nailed picture is a smaller version of a picture. If you click it will get you the full sized picture. This helps to cut down loading times on the board and it makes it easier to scroll and navigate the threads.

If you upload on http://picroda.jphip.com/upload.php?categ=akb48 --> simply copy and post the link that says "thumb."

Another example, on sites like http://uppix.com/ you can copy and post the link that says "For boards" --> "Thumbnail"

authentic reactions to when they first hear the news are probably captured on film. And there was
also Maeda-san’s graduation. At Yume no Kawa, everyone was really… especially me, since I don’t
usually cry. I ended up bawling. It’s embarrassing, but I hope you look at our facial expressions
there too. Please watch the Tokyo Dome DVD!”
