Chinese young people increasingly choose hamburgers and battered deep-fried chicken — Western junk food — over Chinese meals, even at holidays that call for traditional fare. Down with the dumplings.

I'd definitely choose mooncakes over hamburgers/fried chicken during holidays that call for it.
