Looks like some wotas are getting really upset by Utaban's editing of the show, seems like not all happened as we were shown, check this
Seems like some of them actually volunteered for the skateboard kid's act, but....you judge.

Utaban sucks so much, it's not even funny. When I heard they were gonna be on Utaban I was like *shrug*, won't be woth watching... again.

Srsly if the hosts saw Momusu on Music Fighter or bothered to GIVE THEM A CHANCE, they would find out that these girls aren't plain. But the hosts are just a bunch of old farts glorifying the past and not living in today's world. WHATEVER. And yes I mean YOU you pantieperv Ishibashi and horrible SMAP "singer" Nakai!! Crawl into a hole and whither away for all I care!!!

^ Dem's fighting werds. But yeah, I haven't even bothered to watch it eyt myself as I'm pretty sure I'll be disappointed with it. I had that feeling before seeing others reactions but now well....yeah you get the point. I'm sure I will watch ti at some point pretty soon but I'm not expecting much as this is pretty much what I expected, shame really.

Yeah I'm just pissed off that they can make crappy TV on purpose and just get away with it without any criticism in media (that I know of... like TV reviewers calling them out) and stuff like that. I'm so angry at them for purposefully making Momusu look like they're plain even if anyone who's watched them on MF knows that it's not the case.

And haven't they done poor editing for MM in the past?? Like they'd show in the preview Momusu doing all this great stuff, but when the actual episode aired, it was just crap all over. All the crazy fun stuff cut out and unaired for some mysterious reason. Utaban's production team must REALLY hate them. Man, I'm so angry I could start an Anti-Utaban movement, which of course would be hilarious coming from a random Finnish girl

About Risa, maybe Momusu's production team has told them to avoid discussing baby issues and that's why Risa was so serious about it..? Or Risa knew that these hosts/production team aren't the right people to joke about it with. Momusu must have realized themselves that this show isn't exactly treating them like it should. (= with respect)

And about Risa and her asking to change the subject....maybe my japanese is still really basic, but from what I can get, the host did not ask when they would give birth, they asked if any of them was actually pregnant now, they of course said "NOOOOO", and he insisted with a "are you sure?" kind of remark....Don't know you, but to say that even jokingly to a bunch of girls that have probably taken the rap from management about the issue and on top of that are STILL UNDERAGE UNDER JAPANESE LAW (the only legal adult in the group right now as far as japanese law goes is Ai-chan, since age of majority is still 20) seemed a little....uncalled for. So Risa asking to talk about something else was the right thing to do in my opinion.

The sad thing is that no-one's really going to question over stuff like this and instead, like you say the finger will be pointed at the girls for being "plain". I've no problem openly admitting that the current members aren't as popular with the Japanese public as the older ones and that goes for the bands popularity as a whole too I guess; what does bug me is that these are the oppportunities that are able to push bands or artists into the spotlight but it just isn't being taken and that's no fault of the bands.

I think a lot of it is down sheerly to egotism, those working on the show are getting paid for this yet it seems more like a hobby for them, which is fair enough until it starts altering how they treat different guests. If staff think Momusu simply aren't worth it then why bother getting them on the show in the first place? Like I said, I' wasn't surprised to here these kind of reactions and I'm sure they'll be justified as son as I see the show myself but that isn't to say I'm happy about it.

@reyfer: Literally Nakai was asking them if they had any plans on giving birth, totally different subject. And Risa has been a huge fan of MoMusu since her younger days, I bet the news about Kaori/Tsuji caused a bit of a turmoil in her head. Again, note her desperate behavior.

Thank you. But even then, why bring up such a subject? Why insist on talking about former members? Can't the hosts talk about the meaning of the new single, make jokes about the "Another Version" PV or something? As said before, it was planned to have a really short segment, the kids are proof and the fact that the hosts could not bring up any other subject when the pregnancy talk died is another proof. As any person that saw the MF show can tell, these girls have some interesting things about themselves that any show host could easily explore if they wanted to (and I'm talking from my view as a former Assistant Producer for several shows here).

No, but for real. I even remember some older Utaban episode where (I think) there were older and newer generations as guests at the same time and the host said that the older generetions should visit more often for they're a lot more interesting compared to the current MM or something like that. I mean come on now, that's not doing any good for the girls but not for the show either. Who wants to watch a show where the hosts openly admit that the guests are boring? And the new odd segments really kill it for me.
The girls in current MM aren't afraid to bring up topics and discuss them theirselves. Just look at MF, I never thought any of the girls would actually ever bring up how the lines are divided between them, but Sayu managed to bring the humour out of it. So I think it is about giving them the chance.

If we leave out the Utaban thing I'm really happy that this single got so much promotion though. I'm starting to see "the new Morning Musume"

Isn't Junjun 20 as well? I think her and Ai-chan are the two legal adults in MM.

Meh, I don't think utaban's worth watching now. It was al lot funnier then, but now, meh. :/

sorry for the over-excitement but this is my first contribute sales to MoMusu while charting.... my first MM CD single. i bought the 10th Ann. ASC album but not during it's charting weeks...
btw, there's a index card in the back with an URL and ID #..... can someone tell me what that is? what can i do with it? a drawing for RB goodness of some sort?

i checked Wiki.theppn.org and it say RB got 35th for second week... still waiting for the sales #... i already pass 50k, don't u think? but i wonder how far from 60k.... although i really believe that this song deserves more than 60k.... 80k-100k should be more like it.
