A bit over 30 mins till it's new year in S. Korea, I just wanna say that I love this year, it's been great for the girls and Yuri. She's really gained more popularity this year with her sexy image in Genie, her silly self on variety shows. She got to be in 2 MVs, got her MC gig, her fanboys have increased, got to show her various talents- be it singing, dancing or even playing piano, got solo concerts, be a regular on a IY, got a driver license, and finally, got accepted to a university. I'm willing sacrifice another boyband ofr this year to happen again. lol

My baby's chosen to star in a sitcom!!!

From what I (think I) understand, it's a new sitcom following High Kick to the Roof, about lives and loves of three sisters, starring Ye Jiwon, Choi Yeojin and my baby. She'll be playing the youngest sister who just graduated from high school and has zero interest in going to college. It's a daily drama, aris on Mon.- Fri. High Kick will end on March 19th, so it should start on March 22nd.

Well, I'm glad that she gets a chance to act again but I wonder what she's gonna do with her other jobs. Hopefully, she will endure with it a bit more and won't quit IY, If I recall correctly, the show is set to have 24 eps, so if they don't skip any week, the finale will be on April 2nd, and they'll finish filming it probably a week or 2 before that. But Music Core... I guess there might be some change with that. I don't think she can keep everything, especially with the comeback and concerts. $:-\$

eta: Well, now I don't know anymore. Newsen says that SM said that they'd received the offer but had yet to take it, while other news sites like Dailiang and MD Today says it was confirmed.
