Cycling can make men impotent, scientists have warned. Spending too long in the saddle blocks blood flow, causes numbness and can jeopardise riders' sex lives, according to the research.

Thanks for the tips Boxy. Haven't rode a bike since I was 12!! Ever since I trashed it going 100 mph down the hill.

I used to love going super-fast down hills when I was little. I never hit 100mph, but I did do a sustained 35mph for awhile.

Eeeh. I haven't rode a bike in years either.

I'm female and I ride my bike a few hours each day... I actually heard about this some time back and did some research on seats. TREK bike seats are very comfortable and very safe. It all depends on what kind of riding you do. I'm only a road biker, but I can see this story apply to mountain bike riders...

It's all about the saddle.... the last bike I owned cost less than the super gell-filled saddle I got for it.
