I want to do a pre-recorded show, and I'm wondering exactly how to broadcast my show on the radio after I finish recording. If someone could PM me with details, that would be great!!

erink, yutaka3, Kyobu and Hachiko-chi,

It's not very difficult to get started on JPHiP Radio at all. :) All you need is a working soundcard, Winamp, a broadcasting plugin, some MP3s and you're ready to roll! ^o^

The only major thing that seems to vary between those of us having shows on the radio is whether or not we can talk through a mic and have music playing at the same time. Even if you can't, it's not a huge deal. Can always switch between music/mic inputs with a click of a button :) Pre-recorded shows are, of course, always welcome.

If you're still interested, give us a shout via PM with the details of the timeslot that you want and we'll help you get started ASAP. ;)

Are you downloading/uploading stuff while tuning in? :o Coz that causes me to buffer like crazy too... >_<

I've been look for something like this to stream on my blog. This sounds really good and I'm going to bookmark it and add it.

As for buffering, you might want to check your settings, but it's not really a MAC or PC thing, more likely it's the speed of your internet connection.

I'm actually really considering doing radio show, but what does it actually involve doing?
Does the timeslot have to be used every week and just generally how does it work(like programs and everything) ^^
Also does it have to be all music with only little bits of talking or can there be a lot of talking, cuz i like talking hehe ^_^

What it takes is how much time you have ... the software setup is a piece of cake really. Gimme a set schedule (like ___day, ___ hour) The format is up to you too. Can be all talking, no talking, etc. etc.

Sorry for the delay guys, just we been pre-occupied and shit. Everyone will get hollered at soon!!

Hi there! I am rather interested in trying out my hands at DJ-ing, but I may not have probably all the necessary skills to do it, but heck with it, I am gonna go for it for the sake of fun! And btw, any type of music will do yea? I can do a range of english, classical and some japanese....and i will be bull-shitting my way through the whole show.

Do I need a name for my show? Then it will be The RA!RA!RAY! SHOW

I would like a timeslot for Monday GMT +8 16:00. Thanks!

I was thinking of names to possibly call the time slot. I came up with The Reptilicus Radio show. Here's a theme song and kinda welcome to the broadcast I'm working on. It's not compete..but is this over the top.. or exceptable?

Hmm, that's OK man...just dive into the Chatroom and talk to some DJs -- they'll be glad to help!!

I'm a backlog of all the schedule changes atm....just roll wit ur shows. I'll try to get to new DJs --- just be active man! PIMP IT! CHEW IT! and it'll be fixed in no time :)
