Actress Rosa Kato (24) will star in a WOWOW drama special called "Perfect Blue." The drama is based on a novel by prize-winning author Miyuki Miyabe, not to be confused with the Yoshikazu Takeuchi novel that was turned into Satoshi Kon's animated film "Perfect Blue."

Miyabe's "Perfect Blue" novel was her first full-length work, written in 1989. It revolves around a female sleuth (Kato) trying to solve the mystery behind a high school baseball player's death. Aoi Nakamura (18) and Shin Takuma (53) play other characters in the story.

WOWOW will broadcast "Perfect Blue" on February 7.

Just found this info out, didn't realize this.

On June 21nd, actress Kato Rosa (26) unexpectedly announced on her official website that she is now married to soccer player Matsui Daisuke (30). She also revealed that she is currently pregnant with her first child, and sources report that she is in her fourth month.

Kato and Matsui reportedly met through a friend during autumn of last year. They began seriously dating around the start of this year, even though it was a long-distance relationship. Matsui is based in France, where he plays for Grenoble in Ligue 2.

The couple decided to register their marriage on June 22, which was Kato’s 26th birthday.

Kato is expected to give birth this December. She will keep working for now, including filming for an NTV television show and a role in the recently revealed movie “Girl.” After the childbirth, she plans to continue her career as much as possible while also raising the child.

Last month, Matsui declared that he will be leaving Grenoble, though his next team has not yet been determined. As soon as that is settled, he and Kato plan to find a place to live together.

It’s been reported that actress Kato Rosa has given birth to her first child on December 13th in France!

Kato married professional soccer player Matsui Daisuke back in June, and announced that she was 4 months pregnant. Since then, Kato moved to France to be with Matsui, and the couple had been carrying out a healthy marriage towards childbirth in December.

The two met last fall through a mutual friend, and started dating early this year. They tied the knot after 6 months of dating, and surprised many people with a pregnancy announcement. Kato wrote on her official blog, “While dreaming of our future together, we were given a new life. We decided to support each other as husband and wife, also as parents.”

Rosa got her start in entertainment with a job (2004 - 2005) as a regular guest student on the NHK "Italian Conversation" show for beginning students of Italian language.

Rosa's husband, footballer Daisuke Matsui, has transferred to Sofia, Bulgaria to play for PFC Slavia Sofia.

Here is a photo, somewhere in Europe, of the lovely couple and their son, born last December. 2nd photo is Daisuke at the Slavia Sofia pitch.

We know Rosa is good with languages (Japanese and Italian for sure, and I bet she speaks French pretty well), but now you have another alphabet to go with learning Bulgarian: Bulgarian Cyrillic
